@10:30 the US isn't particularly popular in parts of the world. Could have been a lot of things, but you probably reminded someone of US foreign policy, or maybe they knew people who died to US weapons exports. There could be a lot of anger and fear wrapped up in your appearance there, especially if there's a language barrier. Harder to convince people that you're not a part of their problems if you can't communicate.

Thinking that clicking photos of kids is a problem is mostly a western specially American problem most of the other places are chill and people see it as a cute gesture.

thats actually not true. A lot of European countries have privacy laws against taking pictures of strangers. And with all the human trafficking and other bullshit going on thats a good thing.
