I love how you didn’t let your first experience stop you from returning to Peshawar. I’ve been to Pakistan before, but only for work, so I didn’t get much chance to explore. My first time there made me want to go back so much, but I kept hearing people say it’s not safe for a solo female traveler. Despite that, my heart still believes it’s possible. Seeing how you traveled there gives me hope that I’ll visit Pakistan again someday. When I first set foot there, I was struck by how beautiful Pakistan is and how full of stories it feels. So definitely going back there someday hehe. Wishing you and Oskar safe travels! Thank you for all your videos. I enjoyed them so much!

Hi, as a well traveled local I can tell you it’s safe but you need to know which areas to cautious of. like how you would be cautious of mobile snatchers in london. But those places are far and in between. If you need any help let me know 😊

It is ancient land, the heart of the great indus civilisation. One of the great civilisations of modern human history. Once the capitla of Buddhsim (gandhara). A melting pot of different ethnicities and cultures. Cultures where poetry is embedded into the language and life. Lots of rich traditions, art, music, dance, food, folk lore. The himalayas themselves are said to be the ceilings of earth and hold much spiritual power.

I grew up in Pakistan from 18 mos to 18 yrs, and passed through Peshawar many times in the late 1950s, through out the 1960s & early 1970s. I remember when you visited Peshawar last year, even though I was among the first few thousand viewers who watched that video, you were feeling a bit alienated in Pakistan and especially in Peshawar. But after spending seven months here in Pakistan and observing the nature of the people here, this alienation has been replaced by adaptation to the environment here, which is a very good thing in itself. Peshawar's history and hospitality spans centuries, in fact you have made a great choice to visit Peshawar twice and explore it more closely

hi there flora! where can i begin with. i'm absolutely awe struck from the series of videos i've watched from your pakistan series, and i keep falling in love with how gorgeous the country is. the aesthetics, the cultural integrity, the people, the hospitality, the artworks, architecture. it's as if i experience them through when i'm watching your videos, these were so brilliantly filmed. i love how you capture every nuance, and every subtletly this place has to offer. i'm an indian, and exploring this side of pakistan is completely mesmerizing. i had my eyes wide opened the whole time. it's so gorgeous. this country is beautiful beyond description, and i can feel the atmosphere through as you portray them. each shot only makes my heart pang to experience this, too. i'm also very glad i could relate to you, since i've been a vegetarian as well all my life. this has me in complete enchantment and fascination with the country and everything about it - from the streets, the clothes, the bustling. the art fascinates me! i still feel glimmered. this is a side of a country i never witnessed, and i'm completely shook. pakistan is stunningly, almost euphorically beautiful to its own ethic. it's the most liveliest i've ever seen, something i haven't yet witnessed where i live. it's absolutely stunning. thank you so, so much for bringing this. your commentary and content is overwhelmingly well produced! and you've certainly done a masterful job at that. it's a very intimate experience. i'm so taken aback from everything pakistan is, it's beautifully enticing and i feel drawn. i've not noticed any redundancy with the place filmed. this was so gorgoeus. every clip felt like a trip, almost enveloping in essence. i'm completely in love, and i think i keep falling for everything this place has to offer. the details never end! thank you. i'm now left with an unsettling longing and appreciation for everything about pakistan's beauty, it's staggering and all-encompassing. inshallah.

In regard to step one, check out khaadi or ethnic! They have a perfect blend of western or modern style with the shalwar kameez while also being fashionable

Try the golf club cafe on Shami Road.
    Best wishes from peshawar!!!
Nisar charsi is overrated. Its lost its fizz. I'd recommend the University tikka and others in that vicinity

CORRECTION: Peshawar is not a place where you visit for fancy venues. You can find such places all over Pakistan and the world. Peshawar is about its people and culture. To truly experience it, you need to immerse yourself in the culture by wandering through the streets and enjoying the unparalleled hospitality of the Pashtuns. I bet this unique hospitality and culture cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

lucky girl, even we Peshawari girls have never made to this masjid Mahabat khan or even any mosque
i dont know why all the people that visit peshawar always go to the old city centre and not the remaining whole big city ,the places where we live, and how we live now ,all these guides are not representing/guiding what peshawar actually is, and how people live here , i request you and invite you to please give a visit to some locals home someday and then you will truly know how hospitable we are and also we have so many cultural vegetarian dishes that you will def like
