I love it when BW know how to effectively clap back. I get tired of BW complaining when people say stupid things to us (ex: you're pretty for a BG, You act/talk white) and then go to other BW to trauma bond. We need to get more creative when answering these fools. Then we'd have less to talk about, because there would be less of this nonsense coming at us.

Traveling solo is an exhilarating experience. It’s liberating. You learn things about yourself. Using discernment is key. Don’t allow fear to hold you back 🤗🤗🥰🥰 safe travels, sis
@@lesliethomas5088 you just have to be aware of your surroundings. When I stopped drinking, I became less afraid and more aware. Plus, you’ll meet other black women who are traveling solo 🤗🤗🥰
I LOVE LOVE LOVE travelling solo, before the pandemic i always had one solo trip a year and another with friends, family or my boyfriend. Rome, Paris, Milan, Greece, Spain, Nevada, Arizona, Vancouver....I cant wait to get back into it. I realised if i could do that, i could do anything - just a backpack, money, a map and some headphones.
@@honeybee2919 that sounds so relaxing and fun 🥰💕 my son had a heart transplant this year, so I wasn’t able to travel. Next year, I’m definitely gonna do it again 🤗😎😊
Yes! Attract the solutions by taking it easy, having a solution based mindset, and taking time out of your day to quiet your mind/meditate to put yourself in a position to receive. It is a gamechanger. We can only control ourselves and our reactions to and perceptions of this world. Might as well put that energy towards our own well being. I promise you the blessings and successes will follow in overflow. Much love sisters ❤
I got one: Black women (and really all people), we need to start sharing how much we make. Why? Because often your income connections are through your social group. A lot of us work in the same industries as each other, and if you know what someone is making, you know what to ask for (more or less) when you get an offer in that field. The idea of not sharing what we make is a strategy to keep people ignorant of incomes and allows business to keep wages low. Know what to ask for and go above that. Don't settle for anything.
What a beautiful, powerful channel! I subbed the first time I saw one of your videos. I’m a 68-year-old white woman, and I’m educating my own self about the experiences black women have, and the cruelty and disrespect y’all face each day. No white person can truly ever understand what it’s like to face the world as a black person, but I’m here to learn. Thank you.
My brothers & I got told we "talked white" too. Once a black girl (bc they were kids) asked him why he talked white, to which he replied "naw baby I talk clearly". I scooped that on up & put that in my files 😂😂😂
She went A-LONE to Mexico with all the violence against women As a Black European woman you can travel solo to Europe. Its safe of course there are places I wouldn't recommend.
I did that. I started travelling solo because my friends wanted to keep Frequenting the same vacation spots. My BF wasn't interested in traveling outside the country, kept crying broke (he wasn't). There was nothing left to do but go solo. Best decision I ever made.
Please do not travel solo this is for all genders because with all the kidnapping, raping, random killings, human trafficking, and just unfortunate accidents being by yourself makes you more vulnerable edit: please be very careful if traveling solo because you are more vulnerable, especially in unfamiliar places and cultures because some people easily get taken advantage of especially in a place where things work completely different than what your used to.
Honestly kidnapping, rapes, and random killings are more prevalent in the united states depending on what and where you travel. As long as a person stays vigilent, makes sure their money is in a safe space, make conscious decisions like staying in your place of residence if you have no one to accompany you at night, you will be safe. This is coming from someone who has solo travelled it's a beautiful experience when you arent scared of all of the what ifs that can happen at home also.
Idk, I'm a young black woman that travelled solo to Portugal. I would say be aware of your surroundings and be SMART. I chose one of the safest countries in the world and didn't go places by myself at night or make questionable decisions. Met a lot of wonderful people. Just stay vigilant. Solo travel can be a wonderful thing if you use your common sense and know the environment you're going into.
And don’t go outside either because of I travel alone to NYC from Niagara it’s so much more dangerous right? Travel solo, be smart, post if you believe in god, loved too short for that paranoia. You’ll regret it later, Do it AT LEAST once. I already did twice 2 t years ago I was 21, don’t experience any dangerous situations. Haven’t left my city some, but would love to do it Again with or without someone.. & I will. The choice is yours
That can happen anywhere even when you don’t travel. You’re more likely to experience violence from people you know than those you don’t anyway. Go live your life. Fear is not a maker of sound decisions.
I travel solo. I came to live abroad alone. You're at risk (especially black women) just being at home. Back in the States, black men used to approach disrespectfully and then get angry when I turned them down. Where I am now (East Asia), the men either don't approach or do so respectfully for the most part (unfortunately I've had multiple instances in which the few black men over here have approached disrespectfully, but they know not to cut up). Point is, wherever you are, you have to make smart choices, do your research, and be cautious. Black women NEED to travel, even if we have to do so alone. We can't wait on others. If I'd waited, I'd still have been miserable back home.

Thank you for the self care tip hun. And thank you for telling me it's ok to take up space. I get reamed by my parents all the time for it and I'm like I technically have to right of way to walk or be going this direction. I'm not being rude. I maneuver around people enough because I'm usually in a hurry and ppl are in the way. 🤷🏽♀️

I watched up to 10 minutes of this video and I believe that most of this is inspiring for women. The only thing i take issue with is that some things mentioned are the reason black men restrain from relationships and marriage. So i would encourage women to know what they want out life as soon as possible and start working towards those goals before its too late. This includes knowing what your partner wants from you also if that is your direction in life.
The idea of not caring about each other as African American people is what got us in this predicament in the first. As Black men we are most disrespected by our women because a minority fraction of us are not willing to ride with our women no matter what . I was once a prime example of this ridiculous phenomenon . That's when I use to date out . That's until I woke up and accepted the fact that Black women are the natural choice. In the same sense Black women is most disrespected because dating out ...or contingency dating ( contingency - I only chose you because it's not working out with my first choice ) , makes both Black men and Black women look cheap and desperate. The question becomes ' why should I consider you high value when you are apparently nothing more than the reject of your own people ?? ) So then the only value you have to me is that of a fetish object . Something that out of our confused desperation we embrace as real love . From the slave plantations to this very moment we are still considered nothing more than ' instruments of entertainment ' .
Those studies arent looking at what you think they are. There is a difference between someone not wanting to dating Blck women versus finding them physically unattractive. Many ethnic groups are ethnically loyal when dating for serious relationships. Obviously it makes it even harder when people are an ethnic minority. Other groups of women (eg. Asian) are seen as more culturally compatible due to propaganda. So we need to control our image.
It really disgusts me to see advice for black women on attracting wealthy men. It’s way too limiting and basically tells a woman to shift from the feminine energy of acceptance of self and the receiving nature of humility to desperate energy that doesn’t even match the vibration of the right man for THEM. QUALITY men of affluence don’t all wear a suit and tie, frequent such socially rigid environments, or even want a woman to behave unlike themselves. Eventually there will be a breakdown of expectations on both ends if you follow this advice. You’ll also stick out like a sore thumb in the company of these types, like an escort.
