- Welcome to our brand new storage facility: the Netherlands Collection Centre (CC NL)! To celebrate the opening, we asked location manager Wim Hoeben to find a hidden treasure in one of the depots. He invited curator Femke Diercks to tell him all about the 17th century flower pyramid Wim dug up. This is Storage Stars! 🌼🌷
CC NL brings together four important national collections, belonging to the Netherlands Open Air Museum, Het Loo Palace, the Cultural Heritage Agency (RCE) and the Rijksmuseum. Around half a million objects are stored, ranging from paintings, craftworks and furniture, to jewellery, clothing and clocks. You really can find everything here!
🌹 But the most important question: where would you put this flower tower?

Woudl have been nice to put a few tulips in it - just to see...
It's so amazing! 😍💖
Now you just buy one at the Bijenkorf 😅🤗
What an impressive piece of Delftware! I never before saw something similar.
I also saw a pipe organ among the objects. Are there more organs among the collection?
2:16 Can we see a bigger example of these? They are gorgeous
Really beautiful and historically important piece of craftsmanship. My only suggestion is to call out the Orientalist caricature next time and not brush it under the rug.
