Recently, I have been working in collaboration with many cities. As you know It is very hard to visit many cities, but I'm very happy to introduce you to various beautiful cities in South Korea. Today, let's walk the night of Yeosu, Jeollanam-do with me. We start from Hamel Lighthouse, pass the marine park, and head to the mural alley. The highlight of this video is the night sea of Yeosu at sunset and the colorful lights of Yeosu as seen from the cruise. Yeosu (Korean pronunciation: [jʌ.sʰu]; Yeosu-si) is a city located on the southern coast of the Korean Peninsula in South Jeolla Province, South Korea and comprises the Old Yeosu City, founded in 1949, Yeocheon City, founded in 1986, and Yeocheon County which were merged into the current Yeosu city in 1998.
The city of Yeosu consists of the Yeosu peninsula as well as 317 islands (49 inhabited, 268 uninhabited). Being midway along the southern coast of South Korea, it is flanked by Namhae County in South Gyeongsang Province to the east with a natural waterway, and the Bay of Suncheon to the west and northwest, the city of Suncheon sprawling along its banks. The city has three different city halls. On 1 April 1998, the cities of Yeosu and Yeocheon, along with Yeocheon County merged to form the unified city of Yeosu.
Thanks to the sea wind and warm current, Yeosu has cool summers and mild winters. Its ocean climate also brings Yeosu relatively longer springs and autumns than other regions. Yeosu is a city of history and loyalty where the headquarters of South Jeolla Province Navy Base was located, and the Great Admiral Yi Sun Shin improved upon the geobukseon (turtle ship) to save the country while serving as the commander of the navy.

This is a very nice video! And I think it is beautiful that a lot of the traditions in your country and my country make us have a lot in common with each other! I come from a long line of fishermen from my ancestry. Starting with my ancestors, to my Grandfather, to my Dad and myself, we love to go out on the water and cast our nets & fishing poles and make a living. And I always love seafood! I love to eat crab, shrimp and I love to eat all kinds of different fish...which is very good for us! I really do love how we share a lot of the same traditions in life, Nathan! This was another spectacular beautiful place in South Korea! Love the coastal area cities. This one is a plus since it has milder winters and cooler summers. So nice and refreshing all around the area and lots of things to enjoy. I always enjoy the evening walks. The water scenery and plus the mountain scenery is so nice.

@@robertking1367 Thank you Robert and yes, we have had so much response centers from all over the state come in and have helped so much. It is still hard though for those who have lost everything and not knowing what to do next. I just hope that everyone will be capable of rebuilding but I know it will take years to recover even if then.
@@tamlee6904 We had a Tornado that kept jumping down the highway with hops into the forest where I live. It touched down devastated a home and trees and lifted up all the way to a populated city and made buildings disappear. The force of nature is truly unbelievable! I hope you can find comfort knowing the thoughts of many people are with you!

These little films you are making for different cities I really like. It makes me want to go to these places but also it makes me want to learn and see more about them. It was a beautiful tour and captured the sense of being on shore, on the water, up in the sky and walking through the streets. Your trip in Seoul through the museum also helped me recognize the war dragon boat and peeked my interest in Yeosu as a naval base in the Joseon period! Enjoy your holidays! A whole lot of good stuff here. Working with the City is such a nice idea … It is a great model/technique for future works. Good for you and good for them. Love ❤️ the occasional touch of music. Of course there is the great filming underlying all of the other good things. Would love to see you take all of your skills and techniques to a city in Norway like Bergen, for example. Would love to see how that would work and how it would be accepted by your audiences.

I highly recommend the walk (steep hill) up to the most beautiful temple I've seen; Geomosan Hyangilam (대한불교조계종 향일암).
Just about 40 mins nearby Yeosu if you're still in the area! Thank you for the walks, they always make me feel calm.
