On December 1, 2020, I will be doing a drawing to give away an NASB Readers Edition Bible. Go to this video for details on how to enter: ua-cam.com/video/5Vqu8_Ivv94/v-deo.html
Would you say that the layout and the text used for the Allen is on par with the Schuyler. I know one is verse by verse and the other is paragraph setting. But for readability and just overall beauty are they equal or is one better?
I just got my NASB silverline (Blue) in from bibles direct. I paid $270 for it. The quality is nowhere near my Schuyler. I regret buying it and not a Schuyler :(
Not to be negative but do you think that Jesus would be comparing qualities of the bibles and costs. It just makes my heart sad when this is the discussion. The average man on the street would not be able to afford that. Is this what Jesus would want. Just asking
Jesus himself stated that he came such that we can have and enjoy our lives (John 10:10). We are simply comparing different Bibles....a harmless activity.
As long as it does not become a obsession. I have only one nice bible, but I enjoy watching these videos as I appreciate the art and craftsmanship when it comes to premium bibles.
Just as there are cars in every price range and affordability, so there are with bibles and just about anything else out there. I don’t know why anyone has to rain on someone else’s parade.
Oh how us in the west love to debate. We buy expensive phones and cars, and eat out more than is necessary. We have subscriptions to more stuff than we need, yet we debate that someone would by a bible for over £200 that will outlast your car, phone and laptop you maybe typing on. Of course you don’t have to spend that money on a bible I am reading through the bible on a £20 bible and I am fine with it. But if someone wants to spend that on a bible. What’s wrong with it.
So this is Bible number 10,000 that's been created. Everyone that wants to publish a new Bible has to take 10% of the words out of it and put their own words in so this is probably pretty water down compared to the Tyndale or King James.

Do you know the size difference between this 36gsm and the Zondervan single column reference?
What is font size. How much does it cost?

Does the Allan NAS have red letter, concordances, maps, etc.?

Beautiful Bibles! How many Bibles do you own?
I own quite a few Bibles, don't know the exact count. I use them for comparison, Bible reviews, and some I give away.
is this a ‘red-letter’ edition ?
No, it's not.
Ain’t nothing like a Schuyler...
