Hi, great video! I liked it a lot. I'll be grateful if you'd answer a couple of questions: 1. Why is there somebody holding a sign that says "Rytmilättä"? I tried to translate, but it didn't make any sense to me. That's at 01:46:25 2. Why are people seem so excited about this train? I saw cars slow down, people taking photos and waving like crazy? :) Is it just because the trains are so rare, or this one is somehow special? 3. What kind of train this is, really? Is it a freight train with attached passenger car, or entirely passenger? Who rides on it since it so infrequent? Thanks a lot for the video!
Thanks for the comment! 1. The sign is translated as "the rhythm railbus" so it refers to the Finnish museum train, which is a Dm7 diesel train (railbus). 2. This train was a museum train that is rarely seen on this track, only about once a year. So locals were probably interested about it because of that. It was a special passenger service by a Finnish museum operator (HMVY). 3. It is a nostalgic museum train with old passenger cars from the 60s. When there are such rides there is planty of marketing done by the operator to make people ride it. For example Facebook ads are used to make local people aware of the train. It can be a fun experience for families and such to ride on an old museum train like this :)
