This was a musical variety show that was on Russian TV for two months every Friday evening. We were able to watch it each week and it was so incredibly well done. Diana was the youngest and most inexperienced participant by far. I've followed Diana for years now and I've never been one to follow singers before...I was more into Rock and 70's-90's music and the great bands of those decades but there is something about Diana that captures my imagination.
Since it was mandatory for all performers on this show to do different genres of music in each episode this was Diana's pop song. As you have guessed from the comments of the jury Diana's cover is indeed better than the original and i have to add that this song is designed for two people so Diana had to sing both roles.
On this second round of this show Diana for this song went to down. In Summary All Judges put her on last 9th place. Funny thing that this video has a millions viewers right now. Diana always on a TOP no matter who and how judge her.
