I love King of Tokyo still! My favorite version is the Dark Edition. Really fantastic art in a new version of the base game but comes with a few aspects of the best expansions (power up cards etc.). Also, because it looks so different, I’m way less tempted to buy more expansions which helps me out 😂
If you like deduction, you should try out Infiltraitors. It's a co-op game, with scenarios like The Crew, but deduction based. My group who love The Crew fell in love with this game!
Flip town is much better than it has any right to be! I'll never play without the Texas hold em variant though as making poker hands is basically impossible/ pure luck without it.
King of Tokyo is a great game. We usually play it with most expansions. We also have King of New York where you can district buildings and can get attacked by the military 😊 I love Touring Machine, i am sure I will be getting Archeologic. Thanks a lot for the recommendations!!!
I love King Of Tokyo for a fun/easy group game even for seasoned gamers! i think the base game is super solid and the expansions add fun variations. I would like the new monsters in my collection but im curious if base King Of Tokyo really needs a simpler introductory game like "KoT: Origins" 🤔 it almost feels more like they're just remarketing version one, which was simple but a mega hit.
I see we've reached 70k Subscribers!!! Congrats!
Thank you!
They deserve more!
I would like to see another Fliptown with both of you playing using the variant
These are my favorite type of videos! Broad and covering a lot of games while still insightful.
Aw thank you! We're glad you enjoy them!
Whooo hooo! First time YT actually notified me of a new video. I am usually seeing them 2 years later. 😂😅
HAHAHA!!
Just got ArcheOlogic and Fliptown: can't wait to play :) thx for your reviews!
Definitely our 2 favs out of the group!

So many people have recommended that variant, looking forward to trying it out!
Flip town sounds and looks a lot like Pioneer Rails tbh. Looks interesting enough to put on my wishlist though! 🎉
Just picked up Fliptown. The cowboy/outlaw theme had me interested in it. Enjoyed my solo playthrough. Should be a could filler game.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! It's a neat theme
I love King of Tokyo. Normally I'm really unlucky with dice, but there's something about KoT, I almost never lose. :D
Wow that's awesome, I almost always lose LOL. It's a fun one

Which King of Tokyo expansion is your favorite? The Anubis expansion character is interesting. It throws a wrench in the gameplay
@@BeforeYouPlay yes, this one is fun. I also like the costumes in the Halloween one.
Hey Monique, since yall like deduction and you enjoyed Clue, have you tried Awkward Guests? It’s a great modern Clue deduction game.
Hi! Yes, it's one of my favorites! It breaks my brain though lol
King of Tokyo sounds perfect for my October month of killing monsters.
Hahahaa sounds like a great month!

I just got my copy in today and my first solo play round was 69, Pioneerin Homesteader. Yeehaw 🤠
Yeehaw!!
My only gripe with king of tokyo is that if you get defeated on 3 or more players, you just stand on the sideline till the next game.....still love it
We house rule that if you die you come back at 5 HP and 0 VP if you had 11VP or less or you come back at 12VP if you had 12+
That is true, there is player elimination. It's a silly one!
@@jordon5491 OOooh that is an interesting house rule!
@@jordon5491 that is a good house rule indeed
I just sold flip town at Strategicon…I found it a little “scripted” or something. And the size and usability were not great. Who knows.
Oh no way! I (Naveen) was hooked right after the teach. I love 'hold 'em too so that helps. We will be trying that cricket game soon!!
