Ofcourse it is. I have travelled many times in Gatiman. I dont like the green interiors and old school steel washroom. Vande Bharat is very comfortable compared to Gatiman any day.
We need to test trains at 200 kmph in atleast this section. 150-160 is not enough. Bhopal shatabdi is already running at 150 kmph since many years which is faster than all of the vande bharats running currently. When Indian railways will touch 200 kmph then only it can be called improvement. Even in main and busiest section ghaziabad -kanpur train does not goes past 130kmph. Vande bharat is a fantastic triain but it cannot be utilised to its real potential. Because goverment does not gives any focus on developing new railway lines however it focuses on road network.
Ho toh rha h upgrade Upgradation koi ek raat ka kaam nhi h. Track upgrade, signalling system upgradation, communication system upgradation, yeh sab mein time lgta h bhai
If you can cover 100 kilometre in 1 hr, congratulations,it makes your country a fully developed country. But sadly,other than expressways,it takes nearly 3 hrs to complete 100 kilometers,where as railway does it faster,and this is why they are prioritising on road network first.

I am very worried about Indian trains running on ordinary railway tracks at a speed of 160. In particular, many railway tracks in India are dilapidated. Moreover, there are no guardrails on both sides of the Indian railway, making it easy to collide with large animals, posing a fatal risk to passengers on the train because the speed is too fast. There are fences on both sides of the Chinese railway.
@@keyaowang2202 these are semi high speed tracks laid down in 2014-15 . They are much stronger and better ballast for higher speed. Also the curvature and signalling is taken care of. Cattle runover may happen but it doesn't poses any major risk as there exist enough impact cushion for collision. Also there are different grades of tracks in India too some are capped at 15km/hr some at 110 and some at 160km/hr. So railway do take care about condition and capacity.
