This is such a beautiful animatic. It’s clear and colorful. Small details I like: 1. Catherine Aragon holding up the sword. IDK if it’s just an aesthetic thing, but it is a clever reference to when Catherine lead an army while pregnant with Mary. 2. The rosary breaking when the solo went to Anne Boleyn. 3. Anne Boleyn showing her ankle and lifting up her skirt mid-calf, while Katherine Howard lifted hers above her knee. A very clever reference of how they were known for their promiscuity, just in different contexts and levels
you can literally find it on wikipedia just look up the “battle of flodden” and a 8 months pregnant Queen would not be allowed by ANYONE to go anywhere near a war zone especially on the border of another country and catherine was no where near flodden at the time
At 2:33 when she says survive you see her with three others all of which have the same colors as the first three wives. Catherine parr was the one who brought the broken family back together you see Mary, Elizabeth, and Edward.
I like the detail that at 4:47 Anne Boleyn has red lipstick while all the others have lips matching their own colors. Because "sleeves may be green, but [her] lipstick's red".
Not usually one for musicals, or pop songs, but all the stuff from 6 make me jam along to them, maybe the idea that these ladies just being loud and proud with THEIR take on their story. Love the animation here too-

I haven’t seen anyone talk about this but when the solo went to Anne the dagger that held the rosary, also landed on the neck of Anne’s painting while the voices in the background said “beheaded” it’s a nice detail

I love the supportive body language of Parr towards Howard, at the, "picked up a pen and a microphone." Like, "Yes. You deserved better."

all the solo references were intentional i did alot of research to make this one
Catherine did not lead an army while pregnant with Mary. The battle of Flodden was in 1513, Mary was born in 1516 and Catherine was not leading it.
