The problem I see is doing a Reverse-Melt comparison with 3 cryo characters on the team... This will not happen during regular gameplay, because your Ganyu melt teams requires 2 other elements that are not cryo: Pyro + Anemo Pyro + Dendro So the reverse-melt comparison should only be done with 2 stacks of FirstGreatMagic rather than 3 staks. EDIT: Otherwise, it does look like a very good weapon for Ganyu!! Not only does it do well for Charged Attacks, but it will also perform better in mono-cryo or Freeze where Ganyu's Q becomes very important.
not true. the original melt ganyu teams did not use anemo or dendro flex. They preferred a shielder as flex because compared to freeze teams, the melt team had little to no crowd control. most preferred shielder was zhongli but diona could work too. source: was a day 1 ganyu meta crafter.
@@megumi_0 Alright so if Zhongli is your shielder, and you obviously need a pyro character to melt, how many Cryo units do you have on your team? 4 - 2 = 2. With 2 cryo units on your team, how many stacks of FirstGreatMagic do you have? 1+1 = 2. So you understand that the point of this comment is to compare the Stacks of FGM buff between this Triple Cryo team for testing and actual gameplay where you only get 2 stacks instead of 3. "Oh but Diona could work too as a shielder, and she is Cryo, so you could have triple cryo on your Ganyu melt team." Ok let's explore that option. If you have Ganyu + Diona, who is your 3rd cryo unit on the team to get the 3 stacks from TFGM? Shenhe probably, because any other cryo would be useless since you are talking about a Ganyu Melt team. So if you have Ganyu + Diona + Shenhe, who is your Pyro character? Can't be Bennett because he can't apply continuous pyro from off-field. So it must be Xiangling. So if your Xangling is your only Pyro character, working from *OFF-Field* on a Ganyu melt team, Who tf gives energy to Xiangling to Burst off-cooldown? Even on a double pyro + Triple Favonius team like Funerational, Xiangling(Fav) needs upwards of 230% ER%. Now imagine a Solo-Pyro set up where Xiangling is off-field and can't even catch the particles of the only pyro skill on the team that is Guoba. How can you possibly Burst off-cooldown for Xiangling to enable consistent Melt Blooms from Ganyu? She would need *drumroll please*....... 380%+ ER% !! to be safe. So I guess you could throw all Favonius weapons (except Ganyu). So Fav on Xiangling, Diona, and Shenhe. You would still need ~261% ER% to be safe! And you lose a lot of Damage by giving Favonius to Shenhe AND Xiangling (+ an ER% Sands too!). This is so impractical. Not only that, but if Xiangling is your only pyro character, this means that you don't even benefit from a Bennett Buff, or Pyro resonance. So, Ganyu melt? You need 2 characters that are not Cryo to make it work and be worth it. It can be Zhnogli+Pyro, Anemo+Pyro, Dendro+Pyro, Pyro+Pyro (Bennett+Xiangling), I don;t care. The point is you only have 2 Cryo characters on the team maximum. and With only 2 cryo characters, you get only 2 stacks of the new bow TFGM, and not 3 as advertised in this testing showcase. Besides, the usual Melt Ganyu teams didn't even have 2 cryo units because they would use Zhongli + Bennett + Xiangling, leaving Ganyu as the sole Cryo unit on the team. (Which means only 1 stack of TFGM new bow in this case, instead of 3, which makes a big difference). source: I'm NOT a day 1 Ganyu meta crafter.
Ok so long story short it’s not worth it. Must spend like 70 wishes for a chance to get it and it’s only a 5k increase per charged shot at most. And also limits you to playing mono cryo ganyu if you even want it to be better than Amos?

weapon passive. Tfgm passive gives alot atk% which is reflected on the stats, but amos boost charged attacks much more than TFGM and this cant be observed through the stats.
This was great, thanks!
I don't wanna play Ganyu on mono cryo but it is, indeed, a good bow for her
Amos is for melt Ganyu, not for Mono Cryo
@@reizero246 Im not talking about Amos, im talking about FGM...
you can do melt with great magic just use xiangling and then youll still have 3 gimmick stacks with ganyu, shenhe, and whatever 3rd cryo
i think i should start building my shenhe. i have her from the original banner by accident, and she's been benched ever since.
Please do, as an Ayaka and Ganyu main, she's GODSEND.
bruh
the r2 amos is working better than expected.
I ran the test (20 over 236 4p bliz) amos vs TFGM(2 STACK, 20 over 302) and TFGM was very slightly better
truly enlightening
Great comparison👍
i have both i was just watching this for funzies
You should compare second charge att ganyu for sure amos passive activ.
I have first great magic R2 so I know what to do.. ty ^^
Singkat padat jelas... Nice brow

If its r2 like in the Video then its better then a r1 first magic, yes.
thanks for the comparison and...well , i think you should raise your atk :)
Thanks man.
2cond attack has ganyu passive and also you didnt take in consideration the distance bonus for amos
thank you💖
