I'm late to the party, but this video really makes transforming Koot to alt mode a breeze!! I had zero issues following your steps!! Thank You for posting this!! People are missing out by not following these directions! Now when my XTB Locke V2 arrives I plan to use your videos too.
It certainly looks more complicated, but don't forget I spent a while figuring out how to transform this, Windcharger was livestreaming his first attempt. That other Asian's video (not Mr. Talons) made it look complex but not in need of special tricks like this figure.
There's little point. As far as I can tell, it requires a lot of force rather than finesse to get the arms in. I had to file some corners off two metal parts to make it doable. I made a video on that.
@@TransformsIntoAGuitar You must have modded the front wheel sections then? I've got the first release and the wheel guard sections don't rotate up anywhere near as far as you show at 1:33
@@TransformsIntoAGuitar Not really, just mentioning that the version I have doesn't have that movement, and I know from tfw2005 etc that that's fairly common. Did you get yours second hand? If so I think it may actually be the re-release...

Excellent! Let me know how it goes with V2.
Best way I saw to transform kup..thank you
Well done ! You make this transformation look like a work of art
Great job bud. I adore this transformer but he is a tricky transformation. Nice method.
Great job! Love the straight forward approach to this transformation! You should go ahead and do MP-36 next.
Thanks.
My Kup video hasn't been very popular so I'm not sure it's worth it for a figure that old.
Thing is, having watched Windcharger try to transform X-Transbots Locke, this one might be the EASIER third-party Kup. Sheesh.

@@TransformsIntoAGuitar There's another transformation video? Where? Maybe it would solve the mystery of How The Fuck Do The Wheels Come Out.
learned a several new words like pin hinge... never thought to put the two together... a lot of diagonal pressure for this toy, eh? LOL...
You didn't know pin hinge? Wow, dude, keep up with the lingo ;-)
Will you do a transformation video for FansToys Jabber/Blurr?

great video! just subbed
Thank you! But if you're after TF content this isn't the channel for you, it's supposed to be about music.
@@TransformsIntoAGuitar no worries, I’m a singer/front man as well
The only way to do it!
Love you username. Have you seen this very important video?

Hi. Is this the first release or the recent, altered one?
First.
@@TransformsIntoAGuitar Good, that's the one I've got. Thanks for the video, I'll save it under 'watch later'.

@@Ashpolt The only mod I did was to trim the square pegs that I mention at 0:20. Does it matter that yours don't move as much?

where did you get that mug from?
It was a gift.
You must have modified the front wheels because they don’t rotate that much
No, only the tabs at the front.
Wish I had watched this BEFORE transforming....I ended up with a hairline fracture on the shoulder hinge trying to rotate wrong way.....so stupid.
:-(
I tried this once and it didn't work at all. I tried it again with an English accent and it worked flawlessly.
LOL!
This thing is more irritating to transform to vehicle mode than Badcube Warpath.
