This reminds me to say i HIGHLY reccomend using Hopping Skewers with Felyne Bird caller Level 4 Bird caller not only makes your spiribird gathering range huge but also *Doubles* all spiribird buffs Making preparing for hard quests much faster and let you have more time with stuff like Felyne Booster active
YES! I started using this and it’s outstanding. I pair it will birds call skill as well. I’m completely maxed out around 2-3 mins into a hunt and can get right in.
There is actually a setting you can change, which swaps the circle and x buttons to replicate the switch layout on pc. I have both the same and dont have the confusion anymore
I've been a huge fan of Lv 4 Dango Bird Caller. All Spiribirds you pick up get applied 2x, which means I don't usually have to specifically route for Spiribirds - I can usually run more or less straight to the monster and have max health+stamina just from the birds on the way. My "safety" go-to is: Lv 4 Dango Bird Caller Lv 3 Dango Moxie Lv 1 Dango Bombardier (10% damage increase instead of 20%, but skill activation chance is 100%) When I learn a monster's patterns better I switch Moxie and Bombardier
@@Polopollo75 I don't, which is why I used that Dango skill. The 100 extra health from Absolute Petalace makes fights much more survivable. If you don't mind taking the bit of extra time for good routing then the skill is kinda worthless. But if you take the skill then you can often just run straight to the monster with basically no detour and have nearly max health
Bird caller dango at lvl 3 or 4 is really good. lvl 3: 50% chance to double the spiribirds you gather. lvl 4: 100% chance to double the spiribirds you gather. The deco and chameleos skill has ~10% chance each. So eating for it is way better.
My choice of food with the hoping skewers has been a more defensive oriented meal. Felyne medic lv 4 for some potent healing Driver to take advantage of recovery speed 4 And then defender or element depending on how much a monster relies on its element. Edit: recovery speed 3 my bad
If your low on points, instead of buying meat you can also let Palicos/Palamutes trade for popfish and then use those for getting vouchers instead. Uses a slot in your "farm" but is very cheap
Not only did I think that hopping skewers just changed the proc chance, but I also didn't know about the easy dango ticket strat. This video easily had 800% value!
@@TF2Thrifty did watch the video… also wasn’t being rude, I get why he would make the video, algorithm… but also you can just look it up in hunter notes. I’m just saying it’s a silly topic for a video. Regardless of the reasoning.
@@caravaneerkhed Oh ok! Then I change my comment to be: Sad you felt the need to comment this when you can easily look up in the hunters notes that adding your random negative thoughts is even more worthless then this video in the worst of light.
I am merely on my 300 hour playthrough and ignored this mechanic because I thought dango skewers will only change the activation chance of each skill. Thanks for this great video, I know now that dango has levels too and has different effects after all this time 😂
yeah, i didn't know about this system all to well, i didn't know you could read the exact changes based on level, i had a wtf moment when i died with dango moxie in effect, took me a bit to realize that lvl 1 makes it like a 50% chance to work...
I tried the feline bird caller at the higher lv. and I had the rampage deco for spiribirds, went to the second camp in the citadel, maxed out on atk before I left the camp.
"the few of you who are like me and didn't really read things properly" welp that's me and omg thank you Ruri. I didn't realize what i was missing out on lmao. I didn't even realize there were levels.
I personally would recommend Dango Defender for the bottom slot if you're using hopping skewers, since there isn't much difference in its damage reduction and its proc chance goes up to 95%, which is great!
What's a good meal set for Bow users? ❓😗❓ Here's what I've been using thus far since staring SB a few days ago: 1. *Dango Defender* 2. *Dango Feet & Marksman* 3. *Dango Fighter*
Ty Ruri :D At MR 5 i still havent rly looked into this. I think its better to pay for food with points? i wanna make so many weapons (playing 3 atm, will play 6/7), so think ill need zenny more. Also wanna have diff armorsets to play around with. Will take me a while to figure out all the food setups for diff weps. Will look into bird caller as well, ty comments.
Now say Ruri, is this interesting new system of getting your ingredients in a specific order and getting different levels of buffs worth not having a full plate of meat fish and other stuff on the table to eat?

So Birb caller just makes you a buffed up Disney Princess?
But on a serious note I'll definitely try it out.
@@Tsuna_SoulSilver if you have a good Spiribird route this easily cuts the time collecting by like 75%
You guys go for the spiribirds?!
@@cheraxe4ever12345678 what are we suppose to do to them? Take pictures
I'm ashamed of how far into sunbreak I got thinking there was a bug with moxie only to realize I had it at level 1

Can't really blame people for missing this because the game floods you with NPC interactions and tutorials as soon as you get there

I feel like the saying of "and Bob's your uncle" as a term around MH is kinda funny cause of the new Bishaten lol
Thanks for this, seems like a also just brushed it aside and forgot about it :D
I didn’t know this needed explained… there are pretty clear explanations in the menu on how this works and how each skill is affected
He says that in the first 30 seconds and that it is for people that skipped the explanation. Sick comment dude 😎 bet you're fun to hang out with

I do Hopping for Defense, Bombardier, and the Moxie because I’m a scrub and it still works out.
It took me a while to figure out what is still useful at level 1, a lot of them become random, which I really don't like.

I really like the new system, it needed more complexity tbh
Sorry for the question being out of topic but what armour is Ruri wearing in the vid?
Snow shear layered
speed sharpening is fking random but I have no choice no slots for speed sharpess cause no god charms
Has anyone tested to see if weakener affects rewards dropped by affected monsters?
It has no such effect

Nop

Algorithm 2.
