Wow! That sounds amazing! I’ve been considering this distillery and was not sure, but your review of Old Drangon Bones has pretty much convinced me that this is the way. Cheers and thanks for sure a amazing review! 🥃
This is the Way! hope you grab a bottle and enjoy it. I was having a pour of it the other night when I was finishing my editing, bc just listening to how good it was made me want it again. lol so figured why not have a pour while finishing my edit. cheers

Old Dragon Bones is such a great name. I love Rye!
exactly I love the name. Am am starting to enjoy ryes more, especially when they taste like this.
Sounds like it was a solid dram!
(Also, great timing with the new House of the Dragon trailer coming out... I wonder if there's a Dragon Bones old fashioned coming our way in the future)
oh love your thinking. Can't wait for new House of the Dragon. So maybe. cheers
The ODB Cuélebre is AMAZING! have not had the pleasure of tasting the Ayida-Weddo yet. great video! cheers! 🥃
Yes I am enjoyig the Cuelebre. Looking forward to getting the bottle of Ayida Wedoo to share. cheers
Old Dragon Bones sounds like a great pour to have and never had high aged rye. The one rye I'm enjoying is the Corbin Cash 1917 Merced Rye. Great review and cheers!
Very cool. I have not had the Corbin Cash 1917. will keep an eye out to see if I can pick up a bottle. cheers
@@OldFashionedWays If you want, I can send you a sample when I get the chance.

Old Dragon Bones. Never heard of it before but will be looking out now
It definitely a good solid fun pour. cheers
I had never heard of Story Time distillery or Old Dragon Bones. I’ll have to check them out. I have had several older rye whiskies. Sazerac 18yr is my favorite thus far.
Sazerac 18 is a great pour. cheers
I’m currently enjoying KLUKE batch 1 toasted rye and it is heavenly
I have seen KLUKE but never tried it. cheers
@@OldFashionedWays old dragon bones, I could send you a few to try if you like. I have bourbon batches 2 and 6 and the toasted rye. Batch 7 should arrive soon and would make a proper flight
@@benleake6334 hey thanks for sharing. would love to try a few. send me an email to oldfashionedways22@gmail.com so we can get set up. thanks and cheers
Old Dragon Bones sounds really interesting. Oldest rye I've had that I'm sure of is a 10yr. I was fortunate enough to try some older whiskey when I visited preservation distillery but I can't recall if it was a rye or not lol
Oh sounds interesting. Do you remember how old the preservation whiskey was? cheers
@@OldFashionedWays I think it was 12-14 yrs old. I know their rare perfection bottles are pretty old
@@joshhall3060 that’s awesome. 👏 cheers 🥃
@joshhall3060 Congratulations you are one of the WINNERS of the StoryTime reviews. when you get a chance please email me oldfashionedways22@gmail.com Cheers
Old Dragon Bones is yet another one id like to try, oldest rye would be 6yr i believe
Oh Rusty it is well worth the try. cheers
Love that name!
Doc Martinez? or Old Dragon Bones? lmao
Awesome video I love the intro and the Star Wars shirt
Old Dragon Bones sounds interesting my favorite Rye right now is the Corbin Cash
Thanks really appreciate it.
Need to try that Corbin Cash. cheers
@belowaveragebourbon Congratulations you are one of the WINNERS of the StoryTime reviews. when you get a chance please email me oldfashionedways22@gmail.com Cheers
Unfortunately I don’t get to splurge too much on bottles. I live vicariously through your videos but I am going to treat myself this Christmas. Old Dragon Bones sounds like they’re cranking out some winners.
Yea I hear ya. So what is one of your dream bottles you are hunting?
@@OldFashionedWays After seeing you get that Johnnie Walker Year of the Rabbit bottle, I want to get next year’s. It’s gonna be the Dragon.
@@OldFashionedWays I’ve tried to google bottles you show here but I’m weary of ordering from just any website. I’ve been hoodwinked before.
@thejony5 Congratulations you are one of the WINNERS of the StoryTime reviews. when you get a chance please email me oldfashionedways22@gmail.com Cheers
And now I see this is not the premiere 😂
😂
What’s up Doc! I’ve been working so much I haven’t even been able to open UA-cam
I hear ya. work has been busy too. cheers
Old Dragon Bones… This is The Way! 😜 Well Mrs Doc is out of town but she left you in good hands with your new 17-18 yo friends! 😜😂 Never heard of this distillery. Thanks for putting this out. Oldest I’ve had is a 10yr but still my favorite so far is the Redwood empire Emerald Giant cask strength.
You got that right! but I want to clarify that the 17-18 yo friends are bottles of whiskey. don't want to get in trouble. lol I have a blind coming out for cigar blends and one of the bottles is also from them. it was one of my favorite blinds. cheers
@@OldFashionedWays There’s another 17 or in this case 19yo Eagle Rare 17 that might need to be added to that list! SLB just did a review. Keeping 🤞🏽on finding that one!
I’ll be looking forward to that next video since I’m still yet to find a RY3 or Old Elk cigar blend or any other cigar blend for that matter.
@@edwino.4773 would be awesome to get a BTAC. Cheers
Have you tried any 17 or 18 year old Rye Whiskey? What rye whiskey do you enjoy? WINNERS has been picked
DOC!!! That Old Dragon Bones looks awesome!!! I def haven't had any Rye aged that long!! Believe it or not, I LOVE Sazerac Rye!!! I like a nice spicy rye. WT101 Rye is another one that I keep ready!!! CHEERS to you my brother!!!
Very cool. I enjoy sazerac as well. I have not tried WT101 rye, but enjoy WT101. cheers
