exactly, she wants him to change in less than 4 months while she didn't change at all in 2 years while in brazil. hypocrite bitch. makes me think she fell for him cause he was a foreigner.
Is a bit lkke in Japan you don't adapt ou almost due, is exageratee but you end being outlasted and in a confucian homogenus, competitive society that is killer. But eah she expects somethibg she couldn't do
I think you can say they like to "give love", sometimes they're like Bernardo, sweet and devoted to 1 woman, and other times they can't restrain themselves to just one woman, they have to give love to every woman that cross their way. So you have to be luck to find someone like Bernardo. But over all, brazilians are really easy going, and very welcoming people.
But he acts like a child and cant do basic house chores not to mention breaking a toilet like how ? No he he a child that cant help in the house hold breaks stuff and al the women gets in return is love ... not word it woud be oke to date a person like him but not marry or live with she needs to do everything is a sign that some countries need to teach there children basic house chores
Bernardo doesn't deserve to be treated like that 😭 he looks like such a sweetheart those kind of guys are hard to find these days. That girl doesn't know how lucky she is ugh
The wife in the first concern is too nit picky. People make mistakes, chill out. If he takes too long to cook why don't you help out or teach him? Show him how to do things so he can learn faster. He friggen moved back to Korea because she was having a hard time adjusting in Brazil yet she acts like a drill sergeant to him? chiiiiiillllll. The wife in the third concern is way too obsessive.
Wow the first wife... he's never going to become 100% Korean, is very inconsiderate of her to expect him to change everything. He seems like a very sweet guy. God bless his soul.
Gosh. Ain't nothing wrong about a man being feminine. It's 2017, guys. I can understand the fact he wants to make sure that he's heterosexual, but there's also nothing wrong with being gay. You don't have to be a feminine guy to love another man.
irina shvorin Well, I wasn't talking about what he felt. I was talking more about the fact that every time there's a feminine guy in this show, he's always trying to clarify his orientation, and they're actually pretty okay about that. Like it's a relief that he's not gay while they never make a actual gay person appear on this show to talk about a concern. I think it's sad, even though they seem to be pretty open about it, especially Dongyeop.
irina shvorin Obviously, I'm not saying that it's bad if he tries to clarify his orientation. I'm just saying that it's always the same thing, everytime. A feminine guy who appears to be heterosexual.
i think (one of the reason) the wife is like that is because she doesn't want him to get easily manipulated or used since he is a foreigner which makes her pushes him way too much. i don't think the husband understand her in that perspective and sees her as being scary. I do hope she recognizes after hearing from a third party that how kind her husband is that she will loosen up a bit. They need some work and better communication the last couple...now that's a scary couple
The last concern is quite concerning, I actually think they might end up getting divorced. The wife is waaaay to obsessive and actually abusive which gives her husband stress. I know she might be suspicious of him for whatever reasons but if it's to the point where she's controlling and monitoring him through a screen then she's not just suspicious, she's crazy. I can't even imagine a situation like this in the UK because the woman would probably get jail time. p.s Cao Lu seems really ignorant. like I've seen her on other shows but I can never get used to the things she says... edit: I say she's ignorant not to be rude (I know it came across that way) but because she can't seem to see that the wife was really in the wrong here. I mean she's 31 years old but can't see the seriousness of the situation and was actually backing up the wife with childish reasoning.. ???idk
boo's juicy booty Doesn't matter how she was raised. She could be raised ignorant for all we know (or she was not raised ignorant). Fact is that she IS ignorant sometimes. You should have seen her in the last Hello Counselor she was on. She was horrible--like making up excuses and liking how some of the men were being dominant in relationships (problem was that they were dominant to the point that it was abusive).
babyyneekyy That's exactly what I was talking about. She has this nonsensical "women should be submissive and cater to all their husband's needs" mindset. My eyes were just rolling when she started making excuses for the wife.
Potato Comet can you plz tell me what benji does is he an idol or an actor and if he is an idol to what group does he belong i found him cute and charming and thanks
This man should go back to Brazil and find a woman who will love him for who he is. His controlling wife is so intolerant of a man she claims she loves. I feel bad for him.
Bernardo is one of those extremely easy going Brazilians that don't get mad easily and when he gets upset he keeps to himself. People like him live in a slower pace even for Brazilian standards and is easy to cohabit if you are patient... but she is not patient at all.
detphemale she doesn't seem very extreme tbh. she has good intentions but she's very asian haha, you can tell she has some difficulty expressing feelings.
i think its very mean that Koreans force the culture upon them and, i know that they want them to learn from their culture but dont fore it on them, they will go learning little by little enjoying life.
The Korean women sounded like the worst nightmare I've never had. I really cannot stand three attributes, needy, controlling and naggy. That to me is a recipe for disaster.
True.. it would be scary to have someone else in control of your life. But I'm sure not all korean women like that.. um right? Although my korean language teacher is quite scary.
The first concern: she takes her husband for granted. At least he's trying. I understand that she wants him to be treated equally and all that but she should understand him more just like he thought that it would be better for them to move to Korea than to stay in Brazil because it's difficult for his wife. Kangnam, Robin and Taejoon should have their own show 😂
What i see is that people are simply jumping into relationships and marriage and ignoring all the bags and issues each individual are facing. Hence the reason to fix your life first before entering into a relationship.
why do they have to explain themselves just for being feminine? in other episodes I watched, the MC's told the guests to tell the truth (in case they are gay) and they said it's ok if they are, but whenever the guests deny, MCs sighed out of relief!!!! like wtf? do they have an illness if they are different and do u think it's a contagious one if you consider that as an illnesses? MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!
You're bring painfully idealistic right now. People need to stop expecting the rest of the world to harbour the same cultural ideals as North America. Regardless of what is right or wrong, there are many countries that haven't accepted homosexuality, and you're ignoring that. In parts of Korea, admitting to being gay can get you fired from your job and rejected from society, so it's absolutely necessary for a man who isn't gay to clarify (or even a man who is gay to pretend) if they want to be accepted/live well. Saying "who cares" or "mind your own business" is a lot easier in a country where you can contact the police if someone is prejudiced against you. The minds of millions of people aren't going to change just because some of the world has.
NejiRaven Interesting, this person didn't stated where he/she was from but you decided that for herself/himself. I think we know that pretty well so your statement is quite useless. Lying about our own orientation, it doesn't happen just in Korea, but everywhere else. Still, we have the right to be exhausted because of those things, and where we are from doesn't matter.
I don't need to know where she is from to know that she is using Western-ideology of 'absolute freedom for all' in her statement, similarly I didn't claim she was from North America, thanks. Considering we're discussing our thoughts on a Korean Talk show, your response to my statement no more useful, I assure you. Ironically, the original post is also "useless" considering stating her "exhaustion" of the matter does absolutely nothing either. Not entirely sure why you seemed bothered by my statement, I didn't respond to you nor did I deny your right to be anything, just simply responded to the original poster being idealistic with her "mind your own business".
I 100% agree with this and I am Korean, living in Korea right now. What people who aren't Korean / don't live in Korea and constantly accuse Koreans of being homophobic and insult us for it don't understand the culture AT ALL and just speak from their own views of wherever they have been raised.
I think the last couple can't get a child for a reason. How can they have a baby to raise if they fight like this? This will only make the kid more stressed and unhappy, seeing parents fighting like that. She might even control the kids like she does with the husband, and this is not a good thing. They seem like the type that'd force children to pick sides in discussions. I don't think they should have a kid until they learn how to be a healthy couple in the first place.
Also, it's kind of funny how the episode with foreigners has more men complaining about their wives than the opposite. Like, the first lady? She should be grateful every day that she could find a guy like Bernardo. I've seen episodes with women sad bc their husbands treat them like trash or servants, asking them to take their toothbrush to them in the bed bc they don't want to get up and do it themselves. This guy had a maid for his whole life, but instead of pressuring his wife to do things for him, he's trying to change himself out of love. She's not even aware of how lucky she is.
Am I the only one who feels bad for the husbands from Brazil and Nepal. Like both of their wives seem so inconsiderate. I hope Bernardo's wife realizes how precious Bernardo is and how hard it is to find a man like him these days. Finally with Gunbir's wife, she is a hot mess. She needs to learn how to trust her husband. she also needs to understand that there is nothing wrong with going clubbing if you go there to enjoy the music. I feel like if she trusted him a little bit more than he would probably not be so stressed and go less clubbing and spend more time with her.
First of all, we're not slow. All the people here work really hard and I'm sure that she was well treated while they were here. Second, we have housekeeper, it's a common thing. He didn't knew how to clean and do stuff like that but he was willing to learn because of her. btw, he was doing all he could to make her feel comfortable, for them not to suffer so much with the cultural gap. But this woman just don't realize what he did and does! how kind he is and how much he loves her. Does she really think that everybody in Brazil has that patience? For god's sake! And why, he has to complain about bad service? Maybe the employee is having a bad day. And it's not polite at all to complain. You can really see that he is trying so hard to fit in their culture, studying and learning, and she doesn't even make a move to learn about his culture! If she did, she should alredy know how we are educated in Brazil. She is trying to change him into a new person, into a new husband, to fit her imagination when she isn't that pretty! She doesn't have thick legs, big boobs or a big ass. And that's the beauty standard here! She's trying to even say what is the best for him to do with his free time! Let him take a nap! Play on the cell. What difference does it make in her life? Gosh. Really. She's too judgemental!
She's too critical of him about not adjusting too fast in Korea and didn't even consider that when she was living in his culture/country, she also had difficult time adjusting that Bernardo felt sorry enough for her to move back to Korea. I'd like to know if she even speaks Portuguese as well as her husband speaks Korean when she was over there. What irritates me the most about her is her comparing her husband to her BIL. Wth, if she likes the type of person your brother-in-law is, why didn't she look for a similar guy like him? Looking at what's presented to us here, she's lucky that her husband is a patient, considerate, mellow person or he would've left her already.
my opinion is that when she came home from Brazil, she found her sister married a hot Korean guy and she has a crush on him. She wants Bernardo to be like him. The only time her face looed happy was when she was looking at her brother-in-law.
I actually love guys who are gentle, sweet, and can act cute. I would also love to date a guy who is sympathetic and isn't afraid to cry/show his emotion. I think Alex would be a great boyfriend, if girls would give him the chance.
What he mentioned that Brazilian moms don’t tell their kids what to do, it applies to all Latin cultures. The majority of the Mexican families I know teach their kids to be self reliant and independent. My mom never told she what to do, I copied and did what she did, they expected discipline from a early age, so that one would be auto productive.
how disappointing. This episode shows how little Korean people can perceive and understand other ethnic perceptions and cultures. There's just no give. The Koreans don't want to change their ways and so everyone else has to yield. Husband from #3 is not an angel like Husband#1... but both wives are unyielding and obstinate on their standards and worldview. It's not only by the conversations between the guests, but also the votes that reflect the opinions of a random sample set of the audience. I'm sure the few votes that were gathered for each Concern were largely because there were a handful of foreigners in the audience. Agh.. but as a Korean-American, this is quite embarrassing.
shoomonkey2 heres the thing.you said korean should change their ways. no. they shouldn't. all they should do is to understand, not to change themselves.
irina shvorin Nah. I didn't say Koreans SHOULD change their ways... nor did I mean to imply thay by saying 'they don't WANT to change their ways.' There is a difference between forced change (which is colonialistic).. and ethnocentrism (which shows in subtle attitudes and preferences.) I am claiming that Koreans tend to be ethnocentric. it's a centripetal culture no matter how I see it...and it ultimately affects the way daily relationships play out.
You also need to understand theirs as well. Korean has and still is a very very conservative country and just started to get discover more and more through their media however expecting Korea to become extremely liberal and understanding of all cultures in such a short a mount of time is truly ethnocentric
lol56ari of course. of course. I grew up in korea and under a korean household. I'm not ignorant of korea's history and it's complex when it comes to pride in how far along we have come. And naturally, I share in that pride. but again, as I replied to the previous comment, I'm not implying that korean should change or become liberal. (actually.. even within the decade you see so much more open mindedness) I am just stating that it is in its cultural background quite ethnocentric. and it is clear throughout the episode. the MCs did great presenting both sides of the card (I love Hello!). still.. :/ I am embarrassed to an extent to see how "others" need to fit the status quo when even the insiders have a depressingly difficult time swallowing that. Nam sayin?
excuse me, I was raised in the United states however my mother and father are korean immigrants I m not defending the actions of these people I am simply stating that sadly we can't expect much from a conservative country up to par with the united states of course.
Damn! koreans can be extreme sometimes! Lol I realize its sometimes hard to get through the cultural differences, its all about accepting and acknowledging the differences and working through them. I guess they need a more open mind to deal with all that, korea is still pretty conservative. I hope that changes with the coming generations :)
Bernardo's wife upset me... He loves her for the way she is, but she doesn't seem to love him for him. He's unique and a bit goofy. She shouldn't be so hard on him. She's acting more like a mother than a wife..
me too! because it was all of a sudden out of nowhere! 😆 Happy to see you Hugh! maybe he might talk about his experience on the show in a video on 'my korean husband'.
lol when i first saw the thumbnail for this i couldnt help but see the past hair styles of the guys of 2pm. Kangnam - wooyoung. Robin - Taecyeon. Benji - chansung.
Kangnam cut his hair... looking like a new man. Benji on a variety show for the first time on like FOREVER. CAO LU!! A new guy to fangirling over named ROBIN. today is just a good day (until someone fucks it up for me)
"Girls don't like feminine guys?" BULL. Feminine guys are my style! Well, I'd prefer if he didn't wear make-up, but crying a lot is fine. So are cute hand gestures. People need to chill, seriously.
Idk what they mean by not liking feminine guy.. They want masculine guys.. and after dating sometimes or being married sometime.. They came in hello councelor to ask help
I think this is one of the best episode because of the guest were all into the concerns. They were asking and saying what they thought and have fun, i've been watching this program a lot and there fews episodes were guest were .. like.. no even care they were there.
Yeah, I noticed him too.The camera kept cutting to him. His name is Mike. When I first saw him, I thought he was there with a concern but then I noticed that the audience is full of foreigners.
Bernando is such an angel ;u;)/ I would like to find someone like him if it is possible. Also Alex and his friends, i recognized the boy with black hair because i've seen him on #DTEC.
I'm brazilian, and tbh my mom acts like the woman. She asks me to wash the dishes, but when I do, she says nothing to compliment me. Then in one day that i forget to wash them, she complains that I don't do anything and that I'm lazy. She never compliments my efforts, it's so frustrating, I related to the husband a lot T.T
about the first story: the annoying thing is that she spent 2 years in brazil and was perfectly treated with lots of patience and yet he's been there for 4 months and she's annoyingly asking him to change everything... he already changed a lot for her and she didnt change anything and still thinks it's right to complain... if she wanted a korean husband she should have married one, if she decided to marry a brazilian she should accept him the way he is..
21:03 In this case, I'd like to mention that sometimes the cashier lady needs to talk with other people some times. For example, let's say she scanned the item twice, she needs to call the cashier manager to fix that part because she doesn't has the power to do it by herself, the manager's card is necessary. Or when you give 100$ in cash to pay a 90$ amount, and the cash machine doesn't has 10$, the cashier lady has to call the manager again (because they always carry small notes around like 5$, 10$). Talking with the others cashiers isn't the end of the world, it just means they have a good work environment. In Korea, most of the workplaces are full of tension and pressure about hierarchy
I'm here because of Kangnam, Robin and Benji all looked very handsome. Alot of foreigners in the audience very nice to see the diversity coming together in one place.
I'm here for this international episode. The English dialogue in the second concern made me cringe! Actually the whole concern made me cringe!😖 I can definitely understand his concern. Hwaiting Alex !
yolanda nonato oh thank you ! Since I've watched this episode I was like " I know him .... his face tell me something ...." but I couldn't remember lol
what is robin famous for?? I mean what other shows can I find him on and like...how did he get discovered??it's my first time seeing him in any Korean variety shows and omg he's so handsome😍😍
Why are people adoring Robin? I mean, he DID say he wanted to hit the second guy, Alex, just because he acted a little bit feminine. This just incites hatred towards feminine men and instigates violence towards them.
Men CAN be sometimes like children, and a woman's job is to be wiser with such men since they decided to marry them. A lot of people here say that the wives from this episode can't be understanding of their husbands' cultural differences. But I really don't think any Korean guy would tolerate such treatment too. It's just being not a very wise/loving wife, that is all.
i had to skip many parts from that first concern cause that woman is just despicable. she's controlling and pretty much irritating. she doesn't understand how hard it is for her husband, and i dont think its only because of the culture difference, i think it's because she doesn't want to try to understand. she had a hard time adjusting in brazil when she lived there and was glad and thankful for her husband and her in-laws's help at that time, but now that her husband experiences what she has experienced, she doesn't even TRY to be understanding. oh how i hate such women!
woww I knew this guy Benji for the first time here and I already like him. His qualifications are too high to be stuck in an unknown group. And his voice is similar to baekhyun and is as attractive. His confidence and the way he holds himself is sth I can learn from. It made a good impression on me.
Bernardo is such an innocent angel! He’s a very nice husband! She should appreciate his efforts instead of changing him into someone else. She lucky already to have a husband like him! I hope she understands his efforts!
40:48 yikes, seriously dude? You wanted to hit him? Alex's face right after that jerk said that really said it all. That Robin guy needs to fix his own prejudices.
"Seok Chun is dangerous.'" Of course because he's gay he can't control himself around other men. That "joke" wasn't even remotely funny. I hate these episodes where they have someone come on and do everything in their power so we don't perceive the guest as gay. I really wish they'd have an openly gay person come on to the show and discuss their experiences and knock some sense into these people's heads. I wonder how the korean people who aren't straight feel watching shows like this sometimes.
Yeah, them imitating foreign accents when they were reading the concerns wasn't remotely funny either, although everyone in the studio was cracking up like it was the most hilarious thing ever. I wonder how they would feel if they went on an English TV show and the hosts and audience mocked their (probably horribly accented) English. I generally love the MCs in this show, but those two things bothered me this episode.
No offense but American comedians make fun of accents all the time and even in Hollywood movies. No one gives a damn. But if Koreans or any Asian do an imitation of a foreign accent, people flip their shit.
He said that because Seokchun always makes fun of himself by saying he wanna date the guy he is with and by saying all the guys are for him. If you've seen him on show you would've understand the joke
Kudos to Alex for finding the confidence to say "I won't change for society". The standards for men are so conservative and toxic. We praise ourselves for seeing women in high positions (being tough) but at the same time "Boys don't cry/ grow some balls,.." is still a thing. Real feminism means equality for both genders. Men shouldn't be afraid to "act female" (that's a construct which society build anyways (if you don't know about that, watch a video by Judith Butler)).
Listen, I love guys who can show their cute side i don’t care what anyone says. I’m a 21 year old women who likes pretty men (confident pretty men are most attractive, in my opinion of course). Kpop has changed me and I’m so thankful
that last concern man.. they just shouldn't be together. and they should not have a child together at all, women are even crazy after giving birth. only more problems would arise. it's seriously not a healthy relationship.
She's a hypocarte she couldn't adapt to Brazilian culture but she's mad that her husband can't adapt to Korean culture. She wants her husband to change so much and compares him to her bother in law yet she hasn't changed one bit. He's a sweet heart, I would love to find someone like him.
exactly, she wants him to change in less than 4 months while she didn't change at all in 2 years while in brazil. hypocrite bitch. makes me think she fell for him cause he was a foreigner.
hyper cart? XD
S yes i think the mc in the wife side
The brother-in-law is wise. The cultural difference is too much. However, she is too immature
for marriage. She only wants things to go her wat
Is a bit lkke in Japan you don't adapt ou almost due, is exageratee but you end being outlasted and in a confucian homogenus, competitive society that is killer. But eah she expects somethibg she couldn't do
As a Brazilian I have to say that I have only found one person like Bernardo in my life and his wife should cherish him!
Agree!
Woww. How is Brazilian men in general?
I think you can say they like to "give love", sometimes they're like Bernardo, sweet and devoted to 1 woman, and other times they can't restrain themselves to just one woman, they have to give love to every woman that cross their way. woud be oke to date a person like him but not marry or live with she needs to do everything is a sign that some countries need to teach there children basic house chores
unfortunatly she does not understand
how to cherish a good husband
a foreigner special, it's been a while since I've seen any foreigners in the audience as well
Pillow Ears ikr! i love their foreigner specials, i bet it'll help koreans learn a lot about others
Korea is not a diverse country and it must stay that way
FIGHTFANNERD9 Nazi much? hahahah
Lee's got all the jams。 lol
Juliana Cintra i didn't hate other people I'm just a race realist
Bernardo doesn't deserve to be treated like that 😭 he looks like such a sweetheart those kind of guys are hard to find these days. That girl doesn't know how lucky she is ugh
People should really stop stereotyping... femininity doesn't mean you're gay. Even if he was gay, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that
Jasmijn Kesseler exactly! it's 2017 people should chill with the gender roles
Jasmijn Kesseler gender roles existed a long time. 2017 doesnt mean anything
people will always stereotype, that will never change. we do it unconsciously everyday.
+irina shvorin "gender roles existed a long time". Pricesly. It means that the bullshit has gone on for way too long
Christy Spn im not saying i personally agree with it, but changing something that existed for a long time wont be that fast
The wife in the third concern is way too obsessive.
it's rare to find a brazilian guy like bernardo!

You don't have to be a feminine guy to love another man.
u got no jams HAHAHAHA WHAT THE FUCK
lol not all countries, just some. I think many countries' culture wouldnt support it, though
July Lan its not about it being bad.its about thinking hes something hes not. dont get confused hone
irina shvorin Well, I wasn't talking about what he felt. I was talking more about the fact that every time there's a feminine guy in this show, he's always trying to clarify his orientation, and they're actually pretty okay about that. Like it's a relief that he's not gay while they never make a actual gay person appear on this show to talk about a concern. irina shvorin Obviously, I'm not saying that it's bad if he tries to clarify his orientation. I'm just saying that it's always the same thing, everytime. A feminine guy who appears to be heterosexual.
that first concern though. I wanna cry for the man. the woman is so controlling
jimin's Bae same tbh
Querinna Obi ikr? I feel like the man is scared of his wife.
i think (one of the reason) the wife is like that is because she doesn't want him to get easily manipulated or used since he is a foreigner which makes her pushes him way too much. i don't think the husband understand her in that perspective and sees her as being scary. I do hope she recognizes after hearing from a third party that how kind her husband is that she will loosen up a bit. They need some work and better communication
the last couple...now that's a scary couple
whytedaises I agree with you but the method the wife is using is wrong
That maybe the wife dont want married korean man 🤣🤣
The last concern is quite concerning, I actually think they might end up getting divorced.
???idk
i wanted to read your comment but focused more on your username😂😂😂
Jeffery from California I agree with you with the last concern but I don't think Cao Lu is ignorant.. that's how she was raised up
boo's juicy booty Doesn't matter how she was raised. She could be raised ignorant for all we know (or she was not raised ignorant). Fact is that she IS ignorant sometimes. You should have seen her in the last Hello Counselor she was on. She was horrible--like making up excuses and liking how some of the men were being dominant in relationships (problem was that they were dominant to the point that it was abusive).
just wondering why is cao lu ignorant?? i dont know her did she say sth rude ?
babyyneekyy That's exactly what I was talking about. She has this nonsensical "women should be submissive and cater to all their husband's needs" mindset. My eyes were just rolling when she started making excuses for the wife.
I fell in love with Bernardo
Lifewithbri SAME OH MY GOD
How can one not
I'm straight but me too lmao
I love watching Kangnam on variety shows! He's just so blunt and hilarious. Benji is so adorable.
bernardo is such a nice guy
Holly shiiiiii BENJI ON HELLO COUNSELOR!!!!
Potato Comet can you plz tell me what benji does is he an idol or an actor and if he is an idol to what group does he belong i found him cute and charming and thanks
Bloom Cyrus he was an mc on After School Club, he's also part of a group called b.i.g
Bloom Cyrus he's in a group called B.I.G 😊😊 so he's an idol hehe, please check them out! They're amazing and extremely underrated...
Where can I find more about B.i.g
Potato Comet Wassup 안녕 ! Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello!
Poor Bernardo.. that woman doesn't deserve him.. he's too good
This man should go back to Brazil and find a woman who will love him for who he is. His controlling wife is so intolerant of a man she claims she loves. I feel bad for him.
detphemale it seems like she wants a korean husband and wants him to become korean by nagging
Bernardo is one of those extremely easy going Brazilians that don't get mad easily and when he gets upset he keeps to himself. People like him live in a slower pace even for Brazilian standards and is easy to cohabit if you are patient... but she is not patient at all.
detphemale you only see the bad things of their relationship. you don't know them
I think she's competing with her sister.
She also treats her husband like a child rather than as a husband.
detphemale she doesn't seem very extreme tbh. she has good intentions but she's very asian haha, you can tell she has some difficulty expressing feelings.
i think its very mean that Koreans force the culture upon them and, i know that they want them to learn from their culture but dont fore it on them, they will go learning little by little enjoying life.
did benji just scream arriba 😂
😂😂😂😂 it took me a while to get over it, I repeated that part like 12 times
I was like WHAT THE HELL THATS SPANISH NOT PORTUGUESE WRONG COUNTRY BENJI XD
Youuuuuux3 same 😂 but he's so cute i let it pass
really when did he say that?
xxxHyunaxxx at 2:45 kinda mispronounced
The Korean women sounded like the worst nightmare I've never had. I really cannot stand three attributes, needy, controlling and naggy. That to me is a recipe for disaster.
Rimu N and mother in law to they are always soooooo scary!!!
Hahahahahaha
And their parents control everything even if you're already married with kids and living separately..
True.. it would be scary to have someone else in control of your life. But I'm sure not all korean women like that.. um right? Although my korean language teacher is quite scary.
@@mayadee in korea????
None of the stories really caught my attention, but I had to watch because I miss seeing Kangnam around! He looks so good with tan skin
and somehow i think him and CaoLu look good together
car7glass omg exactly what I thought!
my thoughts exactly.
Lou lol it's probably bc of law of the jungle
agreed, stories weren't too interesting, but kangnam was funny
The first concern: she takes her husband for granted. At least he's trying. I understand that she wants him to be treated equally and all that but she should understand him more just like he thought that it would be better for them to move to Korea than to stay in Brazil because it's difficult for his wife. Kangnam, Robin and Taejoon should have their own show 😂
What i see is that people are simply jumping into relationships and marriage and ignoring all the bags and issues each individual are facing. Hence the reason to fix your life first before entering into a relationship.
bernardo is so sweet~~~~~!♡ and cute too 😊😂 His wife smiling all the time while watching it 😊 she must love him so much 💞💞💓💓
why do they have to explain themselves just for being feminine? in other episodes I watched, the MC's told the guests to tell the truth (in case they are gay) and they said it's ok if they are, but whenever the guests deny, MCs sighed out of relief!!!! like wtf? do they have an illness if they are different and do u think it's a contagious one if you consider that as an illnesses?
MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!
Sahar T That's exactly what I felt when I watched it.
94 votes from the last one ? that's seriously a concern and not many of them wanted to acknowledge it wow
I didn't know who Robin was before this but damnnnnnn he is so freaking cute I cannot
Do you know his instagram?
The wife in the first concern is so lucky to have found a man like her husband.
Why is the first couple even married?!? She doesn't seem to want him as her husband, she wants a completely different person.
Shajneen Akhter
I know !
my opinion is that when she came home from Brazil, she found her sister married a hot Korean guy and she has a crush on him. She wants Bernardo to be like him. The only time her face looed happy was when she was looking at her brother-in-law.
That Kangnam and Robin moment was hilarious. I can't believe he fell for it
That husband is too nice of a man for that woman in the first issue discussed. He deserves someone that will accept him for who he is.
I actually love guys who are gentle, sweet, and can act cute. I would also love to date a guy who is sympathetic and isn't afraid to cry/show his emotion. I think Alex would be a great boyfriend, if girls would give him the chance.
Exactly and Koreans should not be talking since they have men who act just like Alex and are worshiped and loved
Same :( some men have their masculinity so weak that they think that makeup or certain attitudes are just for girls.
Agh.. but as a Korean-American, this is quite embarrassing.
shoomonkey2 heres the thing.you said korean should change their ways. no. they shouldn't. all they should do is to understand, not to change themselves.
irina shvorin
Nah.
Korean has and still is a very very conservative country and just started to get discover more and more through their media however expecting Korea to become extremely liberal and understanding of all cultures in such a short a mount of time is truly ethnocentric
lol56ari
of course. of course. I grew up in korea and under a korean household. I'm not ignorant of korea's history and it's complex when it comes to pride in how far along we have come. And naturally, I share in that pride.
but again, as I replied to the previous comment, I'm not implying that korean should change or become liberal. (actually.. even within the decade you see so much more open mindedness) I am just stating that it is in its cultural background quite ethnocentric. and it is clear throughout the episode. the MCs did great presenting both sides of the card (I love Hello!). still.. :/
I am embarrassed to an extent to see how "others" need to fit the status quo when even the insiders have a depressingly difficult time swallowing that. Nam sayin?
excuse me, I was raised in the United states however my mother and father are korean immigrants I m not defending the actions of these people I am simply stating that sadly we can't expect much from a conservative country up to par with the united states of course.
whose the robin guy? He looks cool
Robin Deiana. he's been in korea for quite some time, he does all thing from modeling acting to tv. he was a cast of jtbc's abnormal summit
and he's french ehehehehe
a passer-by wiwi hehehe
Music Life oui*
I'm also from Brazil and i'm happy to see that besides cultural differences, it's possible to live in SK! Should try it later on in life
its possible 😅😅 maybe u and i didnt watch the same episode
It was a very hectic day for me and I forgot it is Monday. Thank you for the show ^^
ommg....Robin is so cute and hot!
is he a youtuber?
Melidomyoji nope! It seems he is a model.......no wonder~
Ananya Neralla I know I was like "you cute! What you do huh huh?"😏
😂 Same 😂 I was like "I didn't know that my country could have some handsome men "😍❤
He's from the show Abnormal Summit. He was a b-boy but now I think he works for a major company
Fiquei muito feliz ao ver um brasileiro no programa. O Bernado é uma ótima pessoa, espero que a sua esposa possa lhe valorizar mais :)
I love how they always film the black guy 😅. I want Bernardo has my husband 😍😍
bernardo is too cute!! he's kind & chill, totally my style
Damn! koreans can be extreme sometimes! Lol I realize its sometimes hard to get through the cultural differences, its all about accepting and acknowledging the differences and working through them. I guess they need a more open mind to deal with all that, korea is still pretty conservative. I hope that changes with the coming generations :)
Bernardo's wife doesn't realize how lucky she is!!
Bernardo's wife upset me... He loves her for the way she is, but she doesn't seem to love him for him. He's unique and a bit goofy. She shouldn't be so hard on him. She's acting more like a mother than a wife..
LOL Kangnam is funny, i wish they would invite him more. He's so interactive with the guests
OMG Hugh! from my korean husband 😃
TheSunshineHappy YEEEEES i was surprised lol
me too! because it was all of a sudden out of nowhere! 😆
Happy to see you Hugh! maybe he might talk about his experience on the show in a video on 'my korean husband'.
i was so surprised!!!!!
I was searching a commentary about him and THERE IT WAS!! Thank you!
I was like: ... Wait a minute.... I KNOW HIM! xD
Bernardo is so adorable and literally the best guy ever. He legit looks and acts like a Brazilian version of John Oliver.
lol when i first saw the thumbnail for this i couldnt help but see the past hair styles of the guys of 2pm. Kangnam - wooyoung. Robin - Taecyeon. Benji - chansung.
Kangnam cut his hair... looking like a new man. Benji on a variety show for the first time on like FOREVER. CAO LU!! A new guy to fangirling over named ROBIN. today is just a good day (until someone fucks it up for me)
"Girls don't like feminine guys?"
BULL.
I'm so glad that Benji was on this show. He is so smart and good at explaining things!
the two goblin references !!!!!!!!!!
I'm wondering which idol Robin dated
janna k Me too. 😂😂😂
janna k. maybe lim kim but she is a solo artist xD
The 1st concern is not a cultural difference its a personality difference
I think this is one of the best episode because of the guest were all into the concerns. They were asking and saying what they thought and have fun, i've been watching this program a lot and there fews episodes were guest were .. like.. no even care they were there.
Did you guys notice the black guy in the audience? The American UA-camr who speaks Korean and Japanese?
whats his youtube name?
Sirafien MiKole
Yeah, I noticed him too.The camera kept cutting to him. His name is Mike. When I first saw him, I thought he was there with a concern but then I noticed that the audience is full of foreigners.
Bernando is such an angel ;u;)/ I would like to find someone like him if it is possible. Also Alex and his friends, i recognized the boy with black hair because i've seen him on #DTEC.
6:15 my family is not korean but my mom always tell me what to do 😂
Jeon Jungkook firstly ARMYYY secondly most mums tell their kids what to do. I think it's only Brazil and a couple of other places that are so chill
Our mothers in Brazil tell what we need to do.
I think is most familiar question than cultural.
yes but lol isnt it in every country?😂
about the first story: the annoying thing is that she spent 2 years in brazil and was perfectly treated with lots of patience and yet he's been there for 4 months and she's annoyingly asking him to change everything... he already changed a lot for her and she didnt change anything and still thinks it's right to complain... if she wanted a korean husband she should have married one, if she decided to marry a brazilian she should accept him the way he is..
Robin is still my favorite part of this episode
Thank you hello counsellor for always giving foreigners a platform
WHO ELSE WANTS TO MARRY BENJI?
The Brazilian guy is sooo cute!!
I was not expecting my country to be there... Surprising but i was happy to see a nepali there...
OMG Robin dated an idol
This episode is PERFECT😊
Its more interesting having people from other cultures
The girl in the last concern is so obsessive it annoyed me
I'm here because of Kangnam, Robin and Benji all looked very handsome. Alot of foreigners in the audience very nice to see the diversity coming together in one place.
BENJI IS SO CUTE
Lily Saelee AND HIS GROUP IS FANTASTIC
Robin💙
Surprisingly, I didn't find much interest in the stories on this episode, but it was definitely nice to see Cao Lu & Kangnam on as guest MCs.
I'm here for this international episode.
The English dialogue in the second concern made me cringe! Actually the whole concern made me cringe!😖 I can definitely understand his concern. Hwaiting Alex !
the second friend of Alex is a youtuber right ?
Mavine. yes. his UA-cam channel is my Korean husband
yolanda nonato oh thank you !
Elizabeth Lao I think he does modeling in Korea?
watch abnormal summit he is a cast there
EARLY SQUAD WHERE YOU ATTTTTT??? hehe this is a great gift from school
Why are people adoring Robin? I mean, he DID say he wanted to hit the second guy, Alex, just because he acted a little bit feminine. This just incites hatred towards feminine men and instigates violence towards them.
25:31 you can just see how much he loves her
baby benji looks so cute im-
Men CAN be sometimes like children, and a woman's job is to be wiser with such men since they decided to marry them. A lot of people here say that the wives from this episode can't be understanding of their husbands' cultural differences. But I really don't think any Korean guy would tolerate such treatment too. It's just being not a very wise/loving wife, that is all.
Am I the only one who finds Kangnam very attractive?
Linn NO
I love Benji's outfit. It's so cute. ^^
i had to skip many parts from that first concern cause that woman is just despicable. she's controlling and pretty much irritating. she doesn't understand how hard it is for her husband, and i dont think its only because of the culture difference, i think it's because she doesn't want to try to understand. she had a hard time adjusting in brazil when she lived there and was glad and thankful for her husband and her in-laws's help at that time, but now that her husband experiences what she has experienced, she doesn't even TRY to be understanding. oh how i hate such women!
woww I knew this guy Benji for the first time here and I already like him. His qualifications are too high to be stuck in an unknown group. And his voice is similar to baekhyun and is as attractive. His confidence and the way he holds himself is sth I can learn from. It made a good impression on me.
bernardo's skin is so nice wth
Robin loos so cute i cant
1 : 10 that derp face tho x)
I love him x)
Bernardo is such an innocent angel! He’s a very nice husband! She should appreciate his efforts instead of changing him into someone else. She lucky already to have a husband like him! I hope she understands his efforts!
Robin!!!!!😍😍😍 I miss him soo bad after abnormal summit
Actually, on an episode of Abnormal Summit, Seok Chun came and Robin was here. They did talk about homosexuality, so if that interest you !
No offense but American comedians make fun of accents all the time and even in Hollywood movies. No one gives a damn. But if Koreans or any Asian do an imitation of a foreign accent, people flip their shit.
Taelephant isn't robin homophobic?
I want a husband as loving and peaceful as bernando!!!
Listen, I love guys who can show their cute side i don’t care what anyone says. I’m a 21 year old women who likes pretty men (confident pretty men are most attractive, in my opinion of course). Kpop has changed me and I’m so thankful
that last concern man.. they just shouldn't be together. and they should not have a child together at all, women are even crazy after giving birth. only more problems would arise. it's seriously not a healthy relationship.
xsa ks987 so true.. I feel like if the wife learns how to trust her husband more than both of them could be happy.
I fell in love with Robin 🤣
Most people are talking about Bernardo. Yea, i think he's a good husband.
Brazilians are like us dominican, we have a delayed time of arriving somewhere it is always between 45 minutes to an hour XD
