Spinning a super coil yarn using waste fibres. Core spinning from the cloud with leftover fiber

- This video accompanies a blog post where I go into much detail about how I spun my supercoil yarn. The blog post can be found here - www.craftmehappy.com/2022/03/...
I have a big bag of leftover fibres that are the waste from my combing and hackle blending experiments.
After saving it up for two years I decided to teach myself how to core spin them and then turn them into a supercoil yarn.
This video shows my whole process from mixing up the fibres, spinning them from the cloud into a core-spun yarn, and then wrapping them in the opposite direction around upholstery thread to make a supercoil yarn.
The purse at the end is knitted from my finished supercoil yarn.
To read more about how I spun the yarn please take a look at my blog post here - www.craftmehappy.com/2022/03/...

Gorgeous!
Absolutely beautiful yarn and a purse! 💕🧶
Thank you so much!
That's impressive!
Thank you so much!
The repetitious music is hard to listen to..The sound distracts from your video and is the same music as many other videos. Over and over again, like water torture. I will subscribe when the banjo stops.
Thank you, this is fair criticism. Unfortunately I make no profits from my blog or UA-cam channel so I’m stuck with the copyright free music that iMovie provides - which, as you have noted, is very limited.
I’m researching various ways of adding different music to my videos, without it costing me anything, but there appears to be no guarantee that this music will not get me a UA-cam copyright strike in the future.
@@KathrynCraftmehappy I did not realize the problem. Your work is lovely and inspiring.
She is also not talking in the video so you can just turn the sound off. Thats what I do on videos with only music.
Nice to look at, But totally not understandable.
I’m sorry you didn’t find this video helpful.
This video was purely intended to accompany the blog post I wrote on how I experimented with my combing and carding waste to spin a usable super-coil yarn.
Please take a look at my blog post here, where I go into a lot more detail - www.craftmehappy.com/2022/03/spinning-multicoloured-core-spun-and.html
I do hope you find the blog post easier to understand. Take care.
