Lots of people are dead because someone wasn’t thinking.

I use to be against 1911s but man after having kids. I like the extra safetys and actually being able to hold the hammer back while holsting prevents it from going off even if something gets stuck between your holster and trigger is great

      The 1911 has some benefits.

Comments seem to not recognize the blue trainers. Which implies a lot of things about the commenters and none of them are good!

Yes, there's people out there that believe they are Force Recon Rangers from SEAL Team Delta and they know LITTLE or NOTHING about firearms!!
Our mistake was to think when folks watched a short, they would be Smart enough to figure out it comes from a FULL VIDEO and they would be Smart enough to go find said Full Video for FULL CONTEXT, we were wrong!!

This reminds me of a GREAT verse in Scripture:
Proverbs 17:28, which states: "Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.".

Never point muzzle @ what you don't intend to shoot. One of the firearms golden rules

You're aware that we're using BLUE Guns, right?? IT's a SOLID Piece of PLASTIC, used for TRAINING, which is what we're doing here!!
I HATE Shorts, I've had to say this ten times already because people type before they realized they stepped on it!!

Is that a gun in his hand or a fricking baton ? Lead by example. I was a safety coordinator for Kroger manufacturing and the worst violators were the senior workers. The ones that had lots of experience. Without realizing it they had bad habits ingrained into them. They would pass on these bad habits to new hires and with no one to “calibrate “ their behaviors is setting up conditions for injury. So these old gun experts are some of the worse offenders. They just dodged the bullet literally and figuratively. This is not just my opinion but from critical safety training from BST Behavioral Science Technology Inc. in Ojai, Ca. They do safety train at a corporate level around the world. From training over the last hundred years in the military to what Yeager was teaching there’s always the latest thing to sell.

My Mistake was thinking that folks would be Smart enough to look for the whole video to get the FULL CONTEXT of the training, we were WRONG!!!

You shouldn't be dropping mags on the ground.
Dirty mags then get grit into places in your firearm that can cause failure to fire or extract. This is not a situation you want to be in if that firearm is used for self defense. Use a drop pouch or cargo pocket instead of the ground.

Seems that you have NEVER trained have you?? I mean REALLY Trained!! At Gunsite, we do what is called SPEED RELOADS, which you DROP your empty Mag to do a SLIDE LOCK reload!! In Competition like USPSA, we even drop partially loaded Mags!! When something goes wrong in a Gun fight, you drop a mag, because sometimes, YOU HAVE TO!!

Hey Genius, IT'S A TRAINING BLUE GUN!!! IT IS A SOLID PIECE OF Plastic!! Used for TRAINING!!!
But there's a GREAT piece of Scripture that properly describes your post:
Proverbs 17:28, which states: "Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.".

He was terrified by having a SOLID HUNK OF PLASTIC Shaped like a Gun, that was SPECIFICALLY manufactured for TRAINING pointed at him.. Shaking , I say, SHAKING!! Or maybe he is a PROFESSIONAL trainer and he knows what BLUE GUNS are.
