Look, I don't really know what Devil Summoner is, I've never played it. I've just been listening to pretty much any Shin Megami Tensei music I can find and I really enjoy this soundtrack!
My cover of this battle theme is mainly based of the remix of it in Devil Summoner 2. Both versions are great (and I honestly think the original is better in a lot of ways), but I prefer the guitars in the remix and I think it offered more creative freedom.
I wrote a little harmony to the lead guitar part in the chorus. It ended up turning into a string arrangement and a piano part.
Last minute I added a little choir thing to the second chorus and I'm really happy with it! I'm not a great vocalist, but I enjoy adding my voice to stuff occasionally.
