I don't use a drum kit. I have hundreds (if not thousands) of Reason patches and I pick each sample by hand in the Kong module. For this one, I used the hi-hat called "hh_Brickwall_TSB" and the snare drum called "Sd_AirSnare_60_BSQ". As for the bass drum, in this particular remix, I used the one that's loaded automatically when I create the Kong module (I don't know what its name is). Those come with the Reason Factory Sound Bank.
But to be honest... yeah. The anime STYLE that was used in Dawn of Sorrow is kinda bland. But style used in Rondo of Blood on PCEngine is very awesome.
Hello, can you do remix of the songs from Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance? The musics from this game are great but the sound quality is very poor in the original version.
It's a Castlevania I didn't play through, but yeah, I think I remember some nice songs in it for the little I've played. I'll give it a try. And thank you for your comments :)
You're welcome :) And you're right, having played the game helps to get the "feeling" of that songs. But I strongly recommend you this game. Maybe you'll need a time to get used to it because it's gameplay is not so good as Aria of Sorrow, but still better than Circle of the Moon.
Hmm... I beg to differ about Hod's gameplay being better than CotM's. I dislike the floaty feeling when you move / jump. It feels too soft (a reason why I'm not a HUGE fan of Symphony of the Night. The game rocks so I am a fan, but not a huge one :p). The way you control Nathan in CotM radiates more energy imo (and sorry for the late reply ^^;). I feel the Aria games are the perfect balance, though : Classy, yet sharp.
And pic on the right is anime style too. Before hating anime style, first learn to diffirentiate anime style form others. Because both pics here are anime style.
Um.. but original Dawn of Sorrow is anime style too... In fact, entire Castlevania series uses anime style. Maybe you meant that you hate simplified cel-shading art style that was used there? Because picture on the left of this video is anime style, but more detailed, like manga.
Is magnificent!👌
Amazing remix!!! Good job
What drum kit did you use for this?
