I’ve tried all the expensive setting powders. The two that works for me are: Airspun translucent and flower beauty. Love love love them. They set as well as the high end powders.

Fenty and Laura have been my go to setting powders and I also love Pat too. A pressed powder that I like under eye is Charlotte because she blurs and makes you look flawless.

I mean I’ve dabbled here and there and I’ve got my makeup done on occasions of course, but I’m just now taking makeup classes and really starting to do my own. I enjoy it so much. I really appreciate your videos Mena. They’re fun and upbeat. For my setting powders I have the Fenty Nutmeg ( travel size ) & I have the Black Radiance Translucent ( Banana ) Powder. I love the BR Powder. It’s a drugstore brand but I really love it. I tried to find a finishing powder; seems like nothing seems to fit my complexion or undertone the way I need it to. I’m going to try again though.
I agree Fenty is that girl I use the Banana shade to set my concealer. I’m glad I got the Laura Mercier in Honey cause I was mixing the original with Sasha for years 😂 I just bought the One Size pressed powder but haven’t tried it yet and I e been eyeing the loose powder. I cannot get the Makeup For Ever powder to work for me cause it seemed hella dry but someone told me to try it with a brush instead of my beauty blender so I’m not using so much under the eye and I should like it better. Cause yea I’m a loose powder under the eye girl but I’ve been experimenting with pressed and I ain’t mad at that either 😂
Yes and yes! I used to set my under eye with a sponge, yrs ago, & stopped because it’s tricky! It used to leave patches somehow. But yes - MUFE is matte, matte.

I have rocked with Ben Nye in Topaz, Laura Mercier honey or translucent. I have fenty powder in hazelnut and I’ve had no idea it was worth getting better shade lol
I use Laura Mercier in Medium Deep or the elf matte setting powder in Tan, depending on my concealer of the day (Elf Camo in Deep Cinnamon or MAC Pro Longwear in NW45) I got the MUFE matte setting powder in 4.1 as a free sample. It looks warm on the screen, and I'm not warm...but can't wait to try it!
Yes girl, we are SO on the same page. I use Fenty cashew, mostly just to set my brow bone as of lately. I use Laura Mercier deep to set my primer, I'm really oily. I haven't tried O/S yet, but sephora VIB coming up, so will have to pick that up for sure. I'm using a pressed powder to set concealer as of late, MAC NW40. I've been thinking about makeup revolution, might pick that up. Compared to Maybelline fit me, which do you recommend? Ok - so I tried a MURev loose setting powder before and didn’t like it. Unsure if they have more than one. Haven’t tried the maybelline fit me one, although I have it 🤭 need to get to it!

Laura Mercier under eye blurring pressed powder/2nd shade… not messy like the loose powder, gives a glow and doesn’t settle in fine lines. It’s hard to find in Sephora so I buy it online. Hourglass setting powder is good too.

I have never tried the fenty loose setting powder and everyone raves about it. I just could not justify it as I have so many powders. My fav is the Sephora translucent powder hands down keeps me right errday 🤣🤣🤣
Ooh, good question! So… stick with a powder that is luminous, beit pressed or powder. Either way, you don’t want to use a matte powder. If there’s a matte powder that you love - be sure that you’re hydrating your under wye area and also try using a hydrating concealer. It’s all about the mix that will work best for you. Trial and error. Always use an eye cream, tho
I don't have the Fenty setting powder. Just not drawn to the brand. If I were to try anything from it or accept a gift, it would be the powder foundation

It was like the ladies giving reviews just liked Rihanna, kept saying how many shades, and were happy to be part of the club trying it early. So I didn't trust them to be objective. When they put it on, it didn't look special on the skin. It just looked like any other not-bad foundation. And the marketing didn't appeal. They were marketing Rihanna- cashing in on her popularity. I already had foundation I loved so with all that, so Fenty had to look really special for me to try it, and it didn't But for the powder foundation, every review I saw, it looked special/different on the skin and I could tell it wasn't fan girl-ing- it's just a beautiful product
