- How to tune Injora Silicone Inserts cheaply! With the simple addition of tuning rods the Injora Green Soft Silica inserts might just be the most versatile of the lot.

I’ve bought the green, blue, and red. The green ones are working pretty good on a 5.5 pound truck. I’ve found the blue is working ok on my 7 to 8 pound trucks. The red is way too stiff for any of my two axle crawlers so I used them on the rear axles of my 6X6 tow truck build. I’ll definitely be looking for Nerf darts on my next trip to Walmart. Thanks for posting your video.
I've got some green inserts waiting for a purpose. I'm gonna try this. Nicely done!
Cheers mate, still playing around with them, but it is cool that there are tuning options.
Thanks! 😊
Great discovery!!! Cheers
Awesome idea, can you please confirm the tire size ; 1.9 or 2.2
Thank you again!!
@@edcaz-v4x they’re 1.9” mate
@@ValleyCrawlers thank you so much!!!
"Here's some i prepared earlier"
Reminds me of childhood tv craft shows.
If only they had this type of content, we might have learned something useful. 😂

The problem i have with those (in 1.0 for SCX24) that they dont allow venting the wheels from the wheel side because they seal the holes, and even holes elsewhere in the tire, there is no air circulation inside of this silicone structure like in a foam. Not sure how to "tune" this - making several small holes through the whole thing ?
Do the inserts require being vented any different way than between the treads?
@@Adalwolf17 no, I just put 2 2.5mm holes in the tyre
@@ValleyCrawlers Thanks!
You should start those wheel screws by hand brother, way too easy to cross thread starting off with a driver
Probably good advice! Haven’t had a problem yet touch wood.
Great ideia and thks for all the info and tips share!!!
Cheers mate!
