You can't even see the side skirts. Maybe you should consider oh maybe some light as you can't tell they are even on. Just an idea for the future. Hard to see the finished product in the dark.
Off subject, but for all you 2020 C8 owners who wish you had wireless Android Auto, Motorola's new MA1 adapter is only $88 and available now. Just installed and it works perfectly. Simple installation and pairing.
The 5VM items just look so good on the C8s. Cpt. American is looking awesome with the new rims seen in the after photos! Time to sell in preparation for the Z06 arrival...ha ha ha!

Great job and very nice install ! I am more interested in the 1VM version . I'm waiting for some kind of discount or forum special to purchase these and the 1VM front splitter from ACS .They are well made , but expensive !! I hate paying full price for anything ....

Good video, Mike! I literally just installed the ACS 1VM side rockers on my car this past Monday. Did you forget to install the tape along the spear? My instructions and Joe's video showed 1/2" 3m tape by 37" + Foam tape by 14". Also, I laughed when you did the short pop-rivets. I also had to use two hands to get those to "pop". The longer ones weren't so bad.
Thank you David, oh wow, I may have forgotten that. Well shoot. We were following the instructions but each of us where reading them at separate times. I guess I should maybe go back and do that. Is that there for vibration purposes? Lol, man those short rivets were a pain! The long ones were easy peasy.
Dodge needs to take that yellow thing off. Does he not know that it was only there for final production measures and shipping? I see many who think that it should be there because their unknowledgeable dealer left it on...
Sorry, I think it takes away from the looks of the car. With all of the beautiful body lines in that area, why detract from the original design? What's next? '59 Cadillac fins?
Black after market side skirts on a red, white and blue Comic-Con car that was almost totaled before it goes up for sale. Mike, I really don’t get it. The color does not work. I am not a fan of taping a car. Not sure why you would sink more $ into this almost retired vehicle. Seems like content gap filler. Plus, your voice at the end was shaky when you described the finished install. You seemed disappointed. This is a rare thumbs down for me.

I kept it on to add color contrast and if I curb it the front lip is protected.
How long did the install take? Seems like you got there much earlier in the day and by the time the video was ending it was getting dark. 4 hours?

The product is so well made, I don’t think that extra bit of two sided tape is going to matter. It was rock solid after we finished the instal!
