Thanks so much for sharing the pictures of Hometown Charms quilts, it's always great to see all the different fabric and color choices quilters make for your quilt alongs. I appreciate your kind comments about my quilt. Thanks again for all the great patterns.
Those quilts are wonderful! I kept changing my mind on my favorite fabric combos so have decided I love them all. Thank you to everyone who shared. Pat thank you for posting them.
Thanks for the great showing of the different Hometown Charms. I enjoyed your show this morning and I glad to know others who enjoyed their mother-in-laws as well, my mother-in-law was so good to me. I felt so giddy and shouted to my husband "I'm somebody now" when you showed my quilt. 😂 It is the little things😊
I love this!! This might be my favourite thing about quilting. How everyone can make the same pattern and the quilts they make are all so pretty and different!!!
How exciting to see my quilt shown on your daily video... thank you for the kind comments.. the fabric for the tree trunk was from a local quilt store in Ft Collins, CO .. just a tree bark pattern that I did some fussy cutting on. =}
Morning Pat Sloan, enjoyed the "trunk" show! Excellent example of how the fabric influences the design. Congratulations 🎊 to all for work well done👏. I'm 5'4" too! See you online tomorrow.
Love seeing the hometown Charms quilts. So many fabrics and styles! I’m still working on my sweater weather and I am getting there! Have a lovely day!😊
In 1971, when my DH was 15 his family spent a year in Geneva, Switzerland. They bought a VW van for exploring Western Europe when school was not in session. He's always been grateful for that experience, such a contrast from rural WV!
I love all the trunk show quilts. So pretty. I have the Sweater Weather book and I will be starting on quilts from that book in January. Right now I am still working on UFOs that I want to get done. Or to a top.
Such interesting questions today. Inquiring minds want to know about you. My first influential quilt teacher was Roberta Horton from CA. I took a hand quilting class from her and discovered it was ok to quilt outside the lines. Also one from.Nancy Crow, learned so much. Always more to learn!
Loved the trunk show. And, I’m loving the Sweater Weather Quilt. Now, if I can just get a few finishes, I might try that one, but I know I want to participate in the next block Wednesday as well.
I loved all the quilts and I’m particularly interested in how the bow fit into the wreath. It looks so lovely, the nicest bow I’ve ever seen. Please pass along my admiration to the maker.
Marsha McCloskey’s feather stars are my hard quilt. I have made one wall hanging with a hard Star years ago and feel my skills are better now so I should tackle a whole quilt now. Many things have changed in the years since making blocks with templates. Nave been learning how to use the triangle papers so that would be great to try with one of those intricate stars. Thanks for sharing Pat!!
My first quilt class was all templates. Love the new changes like adding squares to corners for flying geese, eliminating a lot of "y seams", half square triangles, and multiple half square triangles! 😁
I love the home town charm. Colors were beautiful! Also I sadly cannot seem to get into the on line community page. It says it’s broken or it’s a private group.

I agree Pat that working in different sets for your Sweater quilt is perfect.

Wow! I did a double take when you flashed Teresa’s gorgeous “Christmas-y” quilt on the screen. That is SPECTACULAR!! Such talent. 🥰😻🤩
