@@YevgenySokolovArtI think I have a combo of either not getting enough ink on the brush, not putting something to help the ink flow better and too much water on the brush. I couldn't quite get it to work. But it seems like a winning move, especially for washes.
@@YevgenySokolovArt Understandable but every character must be faithful whether he or she is a superhero or villain or anti-hero or whether he or she kills his or her enemies and wolverine kills and when he kills he is always covered with the blood of his enemies whom he killed every character must be faithful to how they are and not omit anything.
No lie i didnt feel like the onks were as good as the pencils. Like the dude that inked Kirby was a butcher. They werent bad, just the pencils were super tight!
i personally do not like all this heavy inking? many people liked Jim Lee in Xmen in the 90's reboot. and he is an excellent artist. Has become insanely good. But i always preferred open art. Frank Miller's Darkkinght. Milgrom, Mazzuchelli and SImonson. where there is blank areas that COLOUR can perform in. This obsession with veins? popping. is WWF wrestler stuff. They started to sell all those dolls in comic book shops. back in 1990. and it ruined the old seedy comic book stores. Now its full of DOLLS. and merchandize. Like a toy store.
Bro how does a heroes look like to you? I'm an artist and this was perfect use of inking. Jim Lee over saturated with black. This was nowhere near that.
@@NovaPrime5012 leave open areas. I appreciate all the delicate cross hatching. But i do not Prefer it in colour comics. The best I have seen is Buscema-Alcala in Savage Sword of Conan. THAT IS Black and WHITE. If you are doing colour. you need to leave open areas for the Colorist.
What are you going to do when you get a job to illustrate a character or sequential art that cannot be generated by AI? Learn to compose your own drawings, you're not doing yourself a favor by coping generated images.
@@CountEstradivarius7 if it is similar to a pose from someone else it’s purely by accident, there only so many standing poses you can do. But then again, if I do get a gig believe me I will handle it just fine.
@@joelando1559 I use either Windsor & Newton 7 series size 4, DaVinci series 35 sable size 3 or any series 402 by Rosemary & Co (from England) India ink is great yes. I use Kuretake ink mostly.

Thank you so much 😀 I’m trying
Damn, doing that with a brush too
I love it more and more - to ink with a brush. It is fun and quite liberating in terms of line making.

@@luisbaez8105 I understand that. In this case fighting sentinels there isn’t any blood. Maybe oil? I guess I could have 😊

Is that a brush
Yes. Entire drawing inked with a brush.
@@YevgenySokolovArt that's awesome. I have a cornucopia of inking markers and marker brushes. I've never tried an actual brush
@@joelando1559 thank you! Give it a shot. A lot of fun. 😁 get a good pointy brush (designer round or extra pointed round) it helps.
