I could listen to Kirsty Young reading the phonebook and have several masculine crises. Good lord, that voice.
I love her voice - I would have several petite morts and that phonebook recitation...

Okay, i can’t stand it anymore. Kirsty didn’t misunderstand or misrepresent or not know the plot of Finding Nemo. She said that if Nemo had glowed like the fish they’d been talking about, he would’ve been quite easy to find. Why, it’s likely that he never would’ve ended up in that aquarium at all, Ian. Because his dad would’ve found him right away, Ian. Because he was glowing, Ian. And thus easy to find. Ian.
Is Will Self a bit of a Nob?
Am I the only one who finds Ian's outrage unsubstantiated, considering that Kirsty is referring to "Finding Nemo 2" while Ian is accusing her of misrepresenting the plot of the original movie?
Finding Dory came out on 2016 while this episode was recorded on 2003.
@@melonprimo "Finding Nemo 2" mentioned by Kirsty I'm referring to is made up sequel for the sake of the joke, it obviously has nothing to do with film released, as you pointed out, 16 years later.
I think it’s all meant to be a comedy show. 🙄
The man went to jail paid his price. Ian Hislop totally classless perhaps it’s the British way, is kicking Aitken again and again. For entertainment purposes only. He did it before as well on this program. His mean spiritedness is remarkable.
Yes, Hislop should have been polite, then you would be happy and everybody else would be bored.
