Look for regens. Maybe you can find the one of Luka Modric. Either try signing one of experienced CDM's like Rodri, Casemiro, Kimmich, Thomas Partey, Hojbjerg, Amrabat, Scott McTominay, Kalvin Phillips or a youngsters like Alan Varela or Dario Essugo

Amadou Onana from Everton would be a fantastic holding midfield option. 78 rated with an 82 potential. Phillips is another option. 79 rated, 79 potential. Jorginho as well, 83 rated but I think can be boosted to 85 if made a CM. Kobbie Mainoo, 68 rated, 86 potential. Paulhinha from Fulham, 85 rated. Bissouma from Spurs. 80 rated, 82 potential.
Sid try signing a more experienced goal keeper in Kelleher, his been sitting for too long on the bench and Sam Tickle needs someone to push him for his place in the team

for a defensive minded player you should sign Rodri, its been 5 years which that means he's now 33 and his contract might be expiring somewhere, and you might be able to afford him especially since player values normally start to go down at that age.

I think the tough cookies need another good cb. Don’t get me wrong Bernard is great but Arnold and maguire leave a lot to be desired. I suggest signing David hancko. He can put in a great shift at lb Plus he is INSANE from corners. He might not look too high rated but he plays like an 89+ player.
PCQ: I feel like Benzema isn't fast enough to play as a striker in the premier league. Ribiero gets into goal-scoring opportunities more due to his pace, so just make him the main man up front. Then you can put either Benzema or Billy Wilson in the cam spot.
