I'm brazillian and the museum accident was horrible, a huge lost. I have some projects about documenting indigenous languages from outside the amazonia area and this video was really helpful. Thank you Dave and Polyglot Gathering.

We Mapudungun speakers will be victims of losing our language in the coming decade! We need your help too.

Great talk...thank you! Hopefully one day I'll be able to attend these in person. :-)

I'm from Nuba Mountains, Southern Sudan. My L1 is Amah language. It's an endangered one

Endangered languages would be defined as those which have fewer than 1000 speakers and could be lost forever if not recorded and documented.

Was that Matt from Polyglot Progress? She would definitely be interested in ergativity!
