I woke up with this song in my head after learning my son was deployed suddenly. God is in control.
I belonged to a fabulous church choir in Texas and we had sung this song for Easter. Sometime later we lost a beloved choir member after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Her children found information she had left, asking that the choir sing for her memorial service and specifically which songs she wanted. This was one of her requests. Her choir robe and music folder lay on a chair at the front of the chancel area and we sang this powerful anthem. Not an easy song to sing while crying, but we did it for her. It’s an experience I will never forget.
My grandmother passed away on 10-19-17. She passed away before I could get to the Hospice Center where she was, so I could say goodbye one final time. When I got there, she had been gone for an hour already. I heard this song on my ride home and I believe it was her sign to me that she had arrived at the Lord's Kingdom and she was alright. I love Chris Tomlin's music but had never heard this particular song before. I don't think I will ever forget it now. This will be her and I's special song for all of eternity.
My mother heard this song after our grandmother passed away in 08'; now I listen to this today as my mother has now gone to join her in Yeshua's loving embrace...
I had a miscarriage yesterday...my second. This song came on the radio yesterday morning as I drove to work knowing full well what was happening. I burst into tears. My God is so good. There is nothing he cannot do. There is always hope.

I lost my mom today; there is power and comfort in a life committed to the savior. I will see you again mom! Through all the unfairness and pain I know that God's power will overwhelm our loss! He marks our tears, his heart is with us in our deepest times, never does he turn away from those he has paid an infinite price to be close to! I praise God for his goodness and grace! Though the darkness comes it is but the turning of the night into day. ..And the grave is overwhelmed!
Fourteen years ago, I suffer from depression. We just had our 2nd daughter, and it was the hardest thing. I over cane it, but during covid it came back. In I still feel empty, lonely, sad, because I have no one, but my husband has to work. I'm suffering 14 years later, with depression. We are pregnant, so please pray for me. I know the Lord can fill my emptiness. I have no one, but God, my husband and kids.
I feel like songs like this keep me anchored to my faith. Especially when I'm struggling each and everyday to honor him. I try to carry the burden of my sin, when eventually its going to devour me. God is stronger than any burden and if you feel as I do that your sins outweigh his love, knoe you, we, are wrong. Beautifully wrong. No burden is too big for God! Jesus has overcome.

This song helped me through my grieving process when my loving daddy died 12/5/13. Although I still grieve at times, I know this precious man of God is with the Lord. He left a legacy of love and dedication and many will remember him for their lifetime (and beyond). Thank you, God, for a loving, Godly father. And thank you for posting this beautiful song!

I had this song sung at my dad's memorial and they're wasn't a dry eye in the church. A promise from God that death has been overcome and knowing I will see my dad again is what my drives my faith deeper. I WILL RISE!

We lost my husband in January and I have gotten comfort from this song many times since then. It has been filling my heart right now as I am sitting in the waiting room with my daughter in surgery.
July 3, 2021 was the worst day of my life. I lost my child and after crying and feeling lost this song pop in my mind. It has helped me this week and it has ministered my heart. Jesus has over come and he has my child in heaven.
