    Im a person who's on a strict budget and I'm glad these exist otherwise hifi audio would be out of my range, and am amazed at how much better my music sounds through these!

    In 2021 I have these speakers for less than $100 used. In near field (desk) they sound better than speakers 3 to 4 times the price. Not sure what micca has done here but they have somehow tuned these speakers to always present the thing in the song that you are listening for. I have speakers 10x the price and headphones 5x the price. These are still on my desk because I choose them to be not because they are the best thing i could afford.

    Hey Josh, another great video!! Have you looked at the Dayton Audio B652-AIR and Dayton Audio T652-AIR Dual 6-1/2" 2-Way Tower Speaker Pair with AMT Tweeter. They are pretty well rated speakers sitting at 50 bucks for a pair of the passive speakers and about 120 for the pair of tower speakers.

    i had been using the mb42x's for the last two years but the price of the nht superzeros came down and nothing touches them in the $100-$150 range; now that i know them i would have paid the $200 regular price. seems they are discontinued though.

    I'm liking the speaker reviews! It would be interesting to hear your impressions of the Micca Covo-S. I'm sure they're not as good but they are a ported coaxial speaker that is only a little larger than a Bose Cube speaker.

    I'm looking for speakers for my gym it's just under 2k square feet, curious if these will do the job. Thoughts?

    Would you recommend these for wireless rear surround in a home theater application with a dedicated sub? Is there enough power for rear effects? Thx.

    How do you compare them to edifier 1280 models? Which to get in 2020?

    Hi Josh, did you hear any of B&W speakers and can you compare it to Micca's?

    Is it worth the extra $30 to get these over the MB42X?

      Kyle Dykes the difference is that the pb42x has an amp built in so it depends on your current setup

      I heard grabbing a Y splitter and having a powered sub might do the trick

      @@treymtz hmm... I doubt it.
      I'm thinking maybe run the input thru the sub first, then back to these powered Micca?

      @@user-k3bm7xp2s9 try what ever works. I just heard someone people were successful at getting the powered ones to be paired up with a sub

    8:46 minutes of talk and 10 seconds of sound. I understand it's hard to review a speaker to fully understand it's sound but more than 10sec of playing it would have been nice.

      Sorry Buddy, trying not to get a copyright strike :/ Microphone didn't do it justice anyways.

    • @treymtz
      @treymtz 6 років тому +3

      dont, worry due to youtube compression and quality degradation of the microphone what ever it picks up plus further degradation of playback from your speakers that are probably bad in comparison there is no why for you to understand what any speaker sounds like without actually hearing it in person
