Definitely a hopper. His change of pace on his moves is amazing, dribble pull up is great and finishes around the rim even though this is a highlight tape he can play
How do you play like That? I can do all these moves in practice alone confidently and with good form but I just can’t get myself to do it like That against defenders in games.
I tell young guys all the time now, that "cones don't play defense". Also the "park mentality" needs to be flushed away. I'm not saying you have it, but lots of kids do. They don't trap you at the park and most guys take lots of plays off. Not in Travel or High School play. Those guys are sending the kitchen sink at you. At least until you get a "team" that can break through easily. One man can't do it. Balance helps. Being able to do a move, doesn't always mean you should. The younger you are, the more refs are letting guys hack you, and the more it's being called a turnover (very often for some kids). That messes with your aggressiveness and causes you to over think, whereas the defender becomes "more" aggressive. It changes some in high school and definitely in college. Refs begin to favor offensive players more. ESPECIALLY in the NBA. So don't compare yourself to Kyree either. LOL. He gets calls you're not getting yet. That's just one thing though. Having more offensively gifted teammates is crucial. Not every team has that at younger levels. They start to, the older you get. Nobody is going to double a guy when all 5 on the court, can beat his guy one on one. For now: Maybe pass earlier on, in the play. Get to an ideal position, where you can get the ball back, in attack mode! This may give you more one v one opportunity and more chances to catch the defense in closeout mode. Then you can put them on their heels, while showing the world only 75% of your ability. Tone it down some and be patient. 100% is not always needed. Sometimes, less is more. Pick your attack points better and do less "trap busting". In these highlights not one hard trap was sent at him. He was able to attack attack attack. So ask yourself are you benefiting from the same things he does, before you wonder why he can do what you can't. Look at the little games within the game. Then figure out how to best use your talents, for the games that "you" play. Be more strategic. It's great to appreciate others but don't get into a habit of seeking yourself short.
@@lrus859 this helped me so much and you are right about everything you said. Thank you so much. I feel like I never get the opportunity to do these things because of the way the defense sets. Thanks for the in depth answer
Looks like he’s been in the weight room judging by his quads. Guessing he’s a 2 sport athlete at minimum...being able to cut on a dime like that with that kind of suddenness and acceleration I’m thinking he’s also a RB with great vision
Anyone know where he'll spend a couple semesters before going to the athletic PC Culture Landfill formally known as the NBA? School offers, cars, cash and an education?
He’s good. Would like to see him play against better defensive players. Maybe someone more his size he would see at the next level? Right now he playing against skinny boys that reach a lot .
Ok, he's definetly a damn good high school player. But the title eat clickbait ASF, because I was looking for some Kyrie type handles shit going on, which DIDN'T happen.
Definitely a hopper. His change of pace on his moves is amazing, dribble pull up is great and finishes around the rim even though this is a highlight tape he can play
He got it! Beyond the obvious handles, body control, and court awareness, he can move the defense with his eyes which is rare.
Who else remembers this kid from his mshtv mixtape
I knew I wasn’t the only one
He n my state always new who he was
That between the legs hopstep was CRUCIAL😤

Modern movement with an old school game plus very little flashiness and boasting. I like this kid! And the way he controls his pace is crazy.
He serving 6 piece wing combos out there
He definitely been watching Kyrie growing up lol
F kyrie this boy is strong
Kyrie got some style tho
Naw. More like Allen iverson. Kyrie on a planet by himself when it comes to dribbling!
@@mikew9268 you say kyrie has better handles then Allen iverson?(asking a question)
Kyrie is not the best ever, but if u have really been watching his games, u know he’s the most talented ever. Yes, even better than my guy AI.
