Lance | Location Quick Guide | Elden Ring

The Lance is a great spear that deals Pierce Damage and scaled with Dexterity and Strength. The Lance can be upgraded to +25 by using Regular Smithing Stones. The inherent skill on the Lance is Charge Forth, which uses 16 FP upon use. Charge Force allows the player to charge forward quickly, while thrusting the weapon at the enemy. The skill is chargeable, and will increase the range of the attack. The Lance is also the only weapon of it's class that can be infused with Ashes of War. All of the following can be applied to the Lance:

LOCATION
Head to the cliff Northeast from the Warmaster's Shack Site of Grace. Jump down onto the ruin platform to find the Lance on a corpse at the Southeast corner of the structure.

Hey Man! First off, I’m a huge fan of your content! You kill it! Secondly, I’m just an old casual and rarely get to sit down and play this game even though I love it.(I’m still on my first playthrough) anyway, I’m not good at all. I’m using your Juggernaut Fingerprint Shield/Lance build and was wondering, is this still viable or am I spinning my wheels? I need Scholar’s Shield right? Is FOTR dead? If so, what do I use instead? Sorry for all the questions, but I can’t seem to get a clear idea of what I need build-wise and you’re the only dude on here I trust. Thanks brother!

Hey man, thanks for the kind words. So yeah I would use scholars shield if you are running fingerprint. Flame of the redmanes is still very strong fire damage, it just doesn't break poise well anymore. So I would use fotr for things like the miners, who have the annoying physical res and are very weak to fire. I would probably swap the lance for the cross naginata at some point and use that as my main weapon since it has inherent bleed and is just my all around favorite weapon in that class these days.
