I’ve heard from a couple people they’ve had their AllPowers unit die on them. That has not been my experience thus far. It’s worked fine for me up to this point. It’s not over heating, but I also only use it to about 50% of its rated power most of the time. I’ll keep using it and if it fails I will post an update. FYI… I was not paid to do this review, they did send it to me for free to try. I was very clear with them if it didn’t perform I would be honest about that. I am a part of their affiliate program if anyone buys one using my link I get a small commission. Up to this point I’ve made less than $170 in commissions. AllPowers clearly hasn’t bought my opinion. But I have seen some people calling AllPowers a scam. I disagree. It’s an entry level unit to get started for cheap. It won’t last forever and the customer service is not going to be very good as this is not an American company. You often get what you pay for. But this unit has performed fine for me under the 50% loads I typically use on it. To call this unit the best in class would be misleading, but to call it a scam is also misleading. That’s my opinion. Take it for what it’s worth.
Wasn't very familiar with this product, but you did a great job pointing out the perks of what it's capable of. That's a nice unit for the pricing. Enjoyed the watch as usual. Keep it up!!
Thanks for the review on this unit Brian..I was wondering if it was a cheap knockoff or legit product..like you said a good entry point to having a solar generator.
Im looking for a power station to take with camping. Will this power cooking devices? Like electric skillets or other things? Also when not in use and in storage how do you store the battery? Full charge some charge no charge?
@@williamkamphaus3392 yes it should be able to power electric skillets as long as the watts on those don’t go over the rated watts of the R1500 which is 1,800 watts. I would store it with the battery between 50-80%.
please tell me, when the station is 100% charged, does it continue to make noise when charging? or do the coolers turn off? I mean the situation when nothing is connected to the station
I own both of the r600 and the r1500 they both work good for a time but after about 2 months of usage they completely either die or they stopped functioning the way they're supposed to neither of them will connect to the app any longer even with it showing that it has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi available the r600 will drain even when it's plugged into the wall while powering something unfortunately very disappointing solar generators
@@jt3000o wow, that hasn’t been my experience thus far. But I’ve only owned it for 2 months. So I’ll keep an eye on that. Have you reached out to them? I haven’t used their customer service yet so I would love to hear your experience.
