To fix props and hands - you could use the very thin needles thats being used for pinning insects. They leave no mark in the silicone. I've seen them used to flag some subtle head movement - and they should be the preferred tie down of some Japanese stopmotion animator, but I haven't been able to find any trace of that. Nice to have in the animators toolbox!!

With all the work you put into the props It seems that most the hard work will be done after the movie is complete. I hope you are considering a sequel, which would be much easier with so many sets and props already made!
Thank you very much :) - But it's honestly very unlikely that I'll make a sequel... Completing this thing is an extreme burden by itself, though most of the stress is not the work on the actual movie but the constant financial struggle... Learning more and more about the movie industry it seems very unlikely that I would be able to do something like this with proper funding, even after the movie is finished. So unless a miracle happens, chances are that I'll do something completely different in the future! ;)

Can you make the video about the robot characters in your steampunk video you're working on?
I built them many years ago... I think there are some very old making of Videos for at least two of them on my channel, you just have to scroll down. ;)
Maybe I'll make another video about them once the movie is out, but not right now, I didn't shoot enough footage of the process back then...
Warum habt ihr nicht für alle drei neue Hände das gute Skelett genommen? Wenn ihr das doch auch verkauft, dann gibt es doch eigentlich genug. Oder haben die anderen Formen noch andere Vorteile?
So viele gibt es tatsächlich nicht, ich habe nur eine kleine Auflage gefertigt und der Herstellungsaufwand ist enorm hoch, da will ich selbst auch nicht verschwenderisch werden. ;)
Es macht schon auch Sinn so, manchmal braucht man eine Hand die man in arg verbogene Posen bringen kann, da sind die Drähte dann besser geeignet und für alle Aufnahmen in denen der Mensch die Hände nicht wirklich benutzt reichen auch die mit dem schlechteren Skelett. - Außerdem wollte ich ja mal einen Direktvergleich zeigen können... ;)

Thanks! - We tried different silicones and I think "Dragonskin" was the best and its also used by professional studios.

@@OrbeArt The silicone manufacturers sell special pigments for coloring or airbrushing the silicone - It's a bit expensive, but it works very well.
