I’ve been a pure season pass and gold pass player since they gave us gold pass. Haven’t spent real $ on this game in like the past yr. Got plenty or resources, staying at $15 a month has been working out for me.
I started in April 2023. and I spent A LOT of money my first couple months. but I got caught up on cards and just been doing the season and gold pass since. I've fallen behind on cards by 12 or so but that's because I use keys for variants sometimes 😅 but with proper planning and strategic spending of your resources, when caught up, it shouldn't cost more than 15$/month to stay caught up. at this point I've been waiting for spotlights to have 2 cards I don't have. haven't gotten a single new card from the "random" spotlight yet T_T
I love how you offered an alternative way to spend the $100 and demonstrated the value of it and damn! It's actually wild how much more you get with those other bundles. I think I'll be doing that too 😆 Thanks mang.
Watching the analysis part now about the spotlight keys and their value, what you got between each, and damn I will say SD does a terrific job obfuscating the value of currency, credits, gold, etc. Damn 😫
Great breakdown and bundle suggestions 👍 I also skipped this one despite not minding spending more than just a little monthly in this game and I'll definitely go for the other 4 bundles you pointed out. Hopefully not much more than that 😅
If you like collecting variants you can buy the gold pass. If you like and want to support the game you can sometimes buy the season pass if the card offered is good. Spend your gold on offers that have credits and a currency value > 105% The 1 dollar deal is good if you get it... Same for some $3 deals. Rest is trash
I have come to almost exclusively, like 92% of the time, upgrade cards from grey or green border to infinite because of the not quite discount maybe rebate is the better word so that I usually get back between 100 and 200 credits . Months like these hurt because of the abundance of goods stuff. And I have completely given up on gold bundles , at this point I would rather use gold to mostly get variants from the shop, but it is such a long wait to target specific cards , currently waiting on 1 more Baby Variant @1200g to get a free Kang, and getting the 1000 token boost from the frozen yogurt punch card system . Like you said there is so much that is fun and great about the game and gameplay but everything else is utter frustration. Keep up the good work ✌️ edit : I am also F2P , getting season passes occasionally using Google Play survey rewards to do so.
There's a slightly more optimal gold for tokens bundle releasing today (if you compare it to the 1200 Token Tuesdays)=3000 Tokens for 3500 gold (+ a sweet Kitty Pride Variant)
For me it's about the gold, since the gold was taken out of the ladder, and the only way to obtain it is grind out weekend missions, and season pass caches, gold for me has become priority to say...purchase a variant in the shop to complete an album. Any 100 dollar bundle hurts...actually any bundle hurts! I agree though if they took out the keys altogether as some think thats a sort of P2W as you can roll RNG since tokens are also trickle down slow to gain, but like this month almost every card is decent, some are going to be necessary
Watched this video a few days ago and coming back to it with the realization it can closely answer a question I’ve had for a long time. What’s the amount of money spent per week to confirm the new card? Let’s imagine on average 3 keys per week just for the incredibly unlucky. According to this math it seems like that will be anywhere up or down about $50 per week? What a redpill
Side note: the pro bundle explicitly says that 12.5k credits for $100 is roughly equivalent to 250 collection levels. I don’t think that’s including the credits and value returned from going through those levels but rather how much you spend upgrading cards will be 250 CL. That’s 2 keys for $100 bucks… halfway to 100%ing the new card for the week. Holy Hell this black pill is making me choke
Spot light keys being bad is something that is dependent on how long you have played overall. For someone who is around 5k CL I wish I had more keys to get new cards. If I had the reruns for cards that are dominating like white widow I would see less value in them
Keys at that CL have more worth because they help you get new cards AND keep your CL low. Most likely you wont have the cards that players with 10k+ CL have. More worth it for you, but man that $100 is a lot.
🥷 I'd like to start by saying that I found the Silk bundle mighty tempting. It had a smorgasbord of useful resources and consumables, which I really found appealing. I'm really not an avid Silk user though, so I decided to skip it despite wanting everything else. But it is my birthday month and I'm going to treat myself to some bundles. I like your breakdown in terms of "Snap-onomics", and I'll take your advice for those 4 bunbles towards the end of the month instead. Keep the wheels turning. ✌️😎
I bought the silk bundle and immediately regretted it. Both my spotlight keys bricked got 2 things I did not need. I wasn't even buying it for Silk variant as I have another one I like better. Thank you for this video to confirm the error I made. I will for sure be looking closer at these decision in the future with this information you provided. I wonder if they offer refunds? probably not..
I don't get how packs will be or how they'll play out. I would be more than ok if packs benefitted newer players WAY MORE than us veteran players. Maybe it'll get thrown out the window.
Personally, my calculation on bundle formula is determined by this value: (Keys x 2400) + (credits / 1.75) + Token ---------------------------------------------------------------- Gold Price The value for the formula must be above 0.85 to be worthy of purchase. I consider 1 Key = 2400 Token ; 1 Token = 1.75 credit ; Token/ Gold Price at least 0.85.
To expand more on the reasoning and further consideration: First, 1 Token = 1.75 credit are not a fixed value. This is a direct conversion of credit to Token via Gold. It should be the proper value for anyone that hasn't completed Series-3. But for anyone that has completed Series-3, Token is much more valuable. And the proper equation might be nearer to 1 Token = 2 credit. Second, why do I consider Key as so much lower value than most? Because Keys are opportunity value. I consider 1 Series-5 card as equal value to 2.5 Keys. Because purchasing a new Series-5 cards is only necessary when you don't have the keys to guarantee unlocking a targeted card. And targeting a single card out of 4 Spotlight cache require an average of 2.5 Keys.

Dont spend $100 on this game. Buy some grass and plant it then touch it
I should have opened with "DONT DO IT!!!!" and ended it. Also come on, that's a lot of grass to buy.

Thank you for putting the end portion on what bundles you’d recommend instead!

value of the currency goes down when fomo for a variant is involved.

Great video. Pls never stop complaining because you're usually spot on
Posted a new complaint vid about War Machine
Solid Video, I’ve felt like the vibrainum reward bundles have seemed good
Edit:
Watched to the end… this is actually an amazing video
Thank you my dude! I always get the first tier of the Vibranium. Always seems pretty worth the $5.

Better off just saving keys, i saved 16 keys in 2 months and just picked and choose'd what spotlight week and hope for the best.
no need to spend money on this game, unless u want the season pass card. since eventually spotlight vairents go for gold in the end
@leighlafrance4134 it's like 30 dollars in gold. Such bad value.
Bruh
Im new to this game, will they ever have this variant for cheaper I just want the card variant not the other stuff 🤔✌️
Dont listen to comments including this one. You do you
Wait when were we supposed to get packs? Right! Sounds like another idea that’s gonna get thrown out the window.
I don't get how packs will be or how they'll play out. I would be more than ok if packs benefitted newer players WAY MORE than us veteran players. Maybe it'll get thrown out the window.
I mean if someone is really considering using $100 on this they are probably gonna do it lmao
Ben Brode scammer of the year
I had multiple keys wasted all of them just to get the card i wanted. Dnap made it where i got the card acter using my last key
Wait its not normal to only get 100 Tokens??? Im 10k lvl and Never Seen more
Spotlight keys are only worth 1000 tokens to me. Cause when I use only one key, that’s what I get, lawl
Also the only bundle I ever bought was that Halloween arnim zola cause HE LOOKED LIKE A GAMEBOY
How do I sad react to this comment? :( I hope you get what you want next time 1st key!
Leagues need to be in the first week of the season.

I'm a huge nerd for calculations, which you can see from that "Whats a Key Worth" slide, but this is really good stuff. I love it!
