1: True Love Wait (acoustic version) (This isn’t what I usually look for in Radiohead so maybe it shouldn’t count. It’s not the best Radiohead-song but it might be the best Thom’s written) 2: A Wolf at the Door (This one’s insanely, the first time I heard it I was blown away. It sounds like Thom is rapping. The anxious verses in 3/4 resolve perfectly to a different kind of anxiety in the chorus. Masterpiece) 3: All I Need (This is pretty. Love the warm bass line) 4: There, There (This song is aggressive anxiety, in a good way. Probably my favorite Radiohead-freak-out) 5: Idioteque (This one’s also kind of insane. “Here, I’m alive” is my favorite use of Thom’s voice) 6: Knives Out (Cool riff, more anxiety) 7: Reckoner (All of In Rainbows sound silly easy. This might be the most straightforward song, but that’s not even bad. ) 8: No Surprises (It’s better live but the studio version is pretty sweet) 9: Weird Fishes/Arpeggi (This is a trip, from heaven to hell) 10: Motion Picture Soundtrack (This is as good of a closer as A Wolf at the Door, it doesn’t do as much but it just makes it more effective. It’s hard to close an epic as Kid A but this slows you down, in a cold way. Cool.)

My absolute favorite song of theirs is "Airbag." Difficult to figure out a top 10. So many songs on The Bends are equally great: Just, Fake Plastic Trees, Black Star, and My Iron Lung come to mind. Most of OK Computer is incredible - Paranoid Android, Let Down, Lucky, No Surprises, Subterranean Homesick Alien, The Tourist. I REALLY like some of OKC's B-sides: Palo Alto, Lull, Meeting In The Aisle, Polyethylene (Pts. 1&2). Kid A's got Everything In Its Right Place, The National Anthem, Optimistic, The Morning Bell and Motion Picture Soundtrack. Amnesiac's got Packt Like Sardines In A Crushed Tin Box and Pyramid Song. Hail To The Thief has 2+2=5, Go To Sleep and There There. Like Joe, I'm not a huge fan of In Rainbows, but I really like House of Cards. King of Limbs is kinda crap. I really love A Moon Shaped Pool. While it may or may not be better than their earlier established classics, there's just something about it that makes it the album I most want to listen to. Clearly the song "Burn The Witch" (and its incredible video, for that matter) stands out. So, I think I have about a Top 27, or maybe a Top 30 with some other songs from Moon Shaped Pool. There's no way I can widdle that down.
Great songs across all the albums and difficult to pick ten but here goes: 1. Karma Police 2. True Love Waits 3. There, There 4. The Bends 5. Paranoid Android 6. Fake Plastic Trees 7. Idioteque 8. High and Dry 9. You and Whose Army? 10. Electioneering
So many great songs to choose from, but here’s my Ten: 1. Karma Police (OK) 2. Pyramid Song (Amnesiac) 3. Reckoner (In Rainbows) 4. Paranoid Android (OK) 5. Lucky 6. True Love Waits (Moon Shaped Pool, amongst elsewhere) 7. Everything in its Right Place (Kid A) 8. Exit Music (for a Film) (OK) 9. Street Spirit (Fade Out) (The Bends) 10. Talk Show Host (OST Romeo & Juliet)
1: fake plastic trees 2: let down 3: no surprises 4: karma police 5: jigsaw falling into place 6: nice dream 7: lucky 8: street spirit 9: man of war 10: knives out 11: life in a glasshouse 12: black star 13: exit music 14: videotape 15: 2+2=5
Interesting how the lists are so different. I've done mine, with minimum of 1 song per album rule (not pablo) and 2 songs from Kid A, In Rainbows and OKC 10. Fake Plastic Trees 9. Codex 8. There There 7. Daydreaming 6. Nude (that was a tough selection from In Rainbows as this could have been one of a few tracks) 5. Paranoid Android (that was a tough selection from OKC as this could have been one of a few tracks) 4. How to Disappear Completely (that was a tough selection from OKC as this could have been one of a few tracks) 3. Let Down 2. Weird Fishes 1. Motion Picture Soundtrack
1. No surprises 2. Fake plastic trees 3. Paranoid android 4. All I need 5. The bends 6. How to disappear completely 7. Let down 8. A wolf at the door 9. Weird fishes 10. You
Thank you Joe for appreciating Bones and Sulk. They are commonly considered the worst songs on The Bends. Ive always maintained that they are great. Thom's vocals are insane.

@@terrestrialgoldfish2700 they reworked it to fit with Moon Shaped Pool's vibe. I think they should've saved it for another album, and put Cut a Hole in instead, which would've fit much better without the need to change it a lot. I actually made a composite mix of several live versions with a bit of manually-added drum and synth reinforcement to unmuddy the mix, and plonked it on youtube, but sadly it got blocked for copyright (which is fair enough and something I did kinda expect to happen).
Awesome to see Scatterbrain and Lotus Flower in there, not choices I would've expected! I'm guessing the album-tracks-only limit is because your prep is listening to the albums so it wouldn't be evenly judged per-track if you did include them? Airbag 's opening guitar riff alone is monumental.... on the same level of you really got me , purple haze or smells like teen spirit... true genius doesnt need more than a few seconds to shine... and airbag could actually be rock n roll 's last iconic riff.... it doesn't even remind me vaguely of any other guitar part in rock history... how did he do that!?? of course the rest of the song is awesome... incredible songwriting and production
This list was particularly difficult to make. They don't have a bad track (even their b-sides are amazingly consistent), and a lot of their work is atmospheric, making it difficult to pinpoint my favorite moments. Here's what I came up with. After much deliberation and a lot of re-listening, I have to agree with Joe - this is heavily Bends/OK Computer dominated and most of this was trying to decide what other Radiohead tracks were better than the tracks from those two albums. But they are such a good band, it is hard to leave a lot of tracks off. So, here's the 10 10 Black Star from The Bends 9 Sail To The Moon from Hail To The Thief 8 Bullet Proof...Wish I Was from The Bends 7 You and Whose Army from Amnesiac 6 Airbag from OK Computer 5 Let Down from OK Computer 4 Nice Dream from The Bends 3 Paranoid Android from OK Computer 2 Daydreaming from A Moon-Shaped Pool NUMBER ONE : FAKE PLASTIC TREES from The Bends

Impossible job to only pick 10 from just a vast catalogue of brilliant songs - I'd want to include Deck's Dark and Street Spirit somewhere, two wonderfully emotional songs, and am I allowed Man of War even though it didn't make OK Computer originally?
It's way too hard to do this. The Tourist is my favorite song by them, and I don't think that will ever change. Karma Police is the most impressive to me, just being such a perfect track. I was really fond of Decks Dark, awesome song. Really love the depressing No Surprises and Motion Picture Soundtrack. Love the beautiful Nude and Reckoner, as well as the more jumpy, Weird Fishes, 15 Step, Jigsaw Falling Into Place and Bodysnatchers. House of Cards is beautiful though fucked up. Of course who doesn't love Paranoid Android, though I will admit that one becomes less of a favorite over time. It's an epic song but, it doesn't have a good long time appeal since it's so abnormal. The National Anthem is of course awesome, and just for how bad ass it is, it would be hard to not have it at least mentioned. Street Spirit stands out for me off of The Bends, as well as the opener, Planet Telex, though there are other great songs on there, Nice Dream is so beautiful and Fake Plastic Trees so perfectly somber. Just and Bones also rock the hell out, as does the title track. Sulk and Black Star kind of combine the rock with the somber part. Subterranean Homesick Alien, has one of the best hooks. The rest of it is pretty but not my favorite. Let Down is chillingly sad. Exit Music has some awesome build up. I forgot too, All I Need is honestly really good. Can't not mention that one too. I've never like Airbag, I'm surprised at that one.
1. No Surprises 2. Paranoid Android 3. Idioteque 4. 2 + 2 = 5 5. A Wolf At the Door 6. The National Anthem 7. Nude 8. Karma Police 9. Morning Bell 10. Everything In Its Right Place

The National Anthem - my fave from Kid A and one of only a handful I like from that album and this one took a while for me to like it, just one day it clicked. 6. Knives Out - 5. Just - as much as I hate the Paranoid Android video. I love the Just video. 4, Fake Plastic Trees 3. Karma Police 2. Lucky - was disappointed nobody mentioned this one. Just epic sounding. 1. High And Dry - I know Radiohead hates this song, but I don't care, I think it's great. I was fortunate to see them in 95 (opening for REM) and see them perform this song since they haven't played it as far as I know since 97. I also saw them on the IN Rainbows tour and played almost nothing I wanted to hear.
The weirdest part of this video isn’t so many sterling songs from The Bends not making the cut, it’s the closed captioning. When set to English, it does not print what the three gents are saying. It shows the wrong text in English, AND throws in some foreign language words for $#!¥$ and giggles!

Radiohead are great , but sometimes they lean on or borrow ideas somewhat blatantly.. I mean all musicians are influenced obviously. I love The Bends album but it sounded familiar when it cane out . Listen to Midnight Oil’s 1993 “Outbreak of Love”, take out Peter Garret’s vocals and it fit perfectly on The Bends, Fake plastic Trees could be a Bread song . The obvious Creep is also another derivative pick. Music is derivative in nature for sure . Tom’s a sneaky genius.
Here's Mine: 10. Videotape 9. No Surprises 8. Talk Show Host ("You want me? Fucking come and find me!") 7. Street Spirit (Fade Out) 6. Bangers + Mash 5. Sorry I just can't take these guy's seriously. Just watched their top 10 Pearl Jam songs. Black not in a single one of their top 10 lists and now this one and Street Sprit also not in a single one of these top 10 lists. Again like Pearl Jam's black, one of the most powerful songs ever written. It just seems like trying to be different.
"Let Down" is my #1 by far... it gives me goosebumps at the final chorus, with Tom's voice just soaring
Yeah man
I feel like this song is so underrated

4. Jigzaw Falling Into Place
3. Idioteque
2. Like Spinning Plates (live version from I Might Be Wrong)
1. How to Disappear Completely
Boys a serendipitous moment - an ad for nick cave before the video just to remind me how good he is (as if I need to be reminded). All I could think of was review Nick Cave, damn those ads!
I’ll have a listen and keep up with the great content.
Maybe rank Mr Cave - but I guess that’s like wishing for the impossible for how do you rank genius?
I would love a Nick Cave review. Jason mentioned that it might happen but probably not with Joe
I never see ads because I use adblock.
I'm wierdly addicted to this channel. So much to choose from, here's mine..... 1.Spectre, 2.Airbag, 3.Paranoid Android, 4.Black Star, 5.True Love Waits, 6.Fake Plastic Trees, 7.Man Of War, 8.Pyramid Song, 9.Lucky, 10.Street Spirit.
Yours is probably the closest to my tastes...except True Love Waits. What were you thinking?!
Awesome, especially lovely to see Black Star and Spectre appreciated.
1. Fake Plastic Trees
2. Karma Police
3. Exit Music (For a Film)
4. How to Disappear Completely
5. Let Down
6. Street Spirit (Fade Out)
7. Everything in Its Right Place
8. Reckoner

10. Subterranean Homesick Alien

1. Paranoid Android
2. High And Dry
3. Exit Music (For A Film)
4. How To Disappear Completely
5. Karma Police
6. Let Down
7. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
8. Planet Telex
9. Everything In Its’ Right Place
10. Just
Knives Out snubbed! Give it another listen. One of their best. Rock on TLM
Climbing up the walls is definitely a top 10 Radiohead song for me!
Here's mine :
10. Sail To The Moon
9. There, There
8. Weird Fishes
7. Pyramid Song
6. Motion Picture Soundtrack
5. Exit Music (For A Film)
4. How to Disappear Completely
3. True Love Waits
2. Street Spirit (Fade Out)
1. No Surprises
1: True Love Wait (acoustic version)
(This isn’t what I usually look for in Radiohead so maybe it shouldn’t count. It’s not the best Radiohead-song but it might be the best Thom’s written)
2: A Wolf at the Door
(This one’s insanely, the first time I heard it I was blown away. It sounds like Thom is rapping. The anxious verses in 3/4 resolve perfectly to a different kind of anxiety in the chorus. Masterpiece)
3: All I Need
(This is pretty. Love the warm bass line)
4: There, There
(This song is aggressive anxiety, in a good way. Probably my favorite Radiohead-freak-out)
5: Idioteque
(This one’s also kind of insane. “Here, I’m alive” is my favorite use of Thom’s voice)
6: Knives Out
(Cool riff, more anxiety)
7: Reckoner
(All of In Rainbows sound silly easy. This might be the most straightforward song, but that’s not even bad. )
8: No Surprises
(It’s better live but the studio version is pretty sweet)
9: Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
(This is a trip, from heaven to hell)
10: Motion Picture Soundtrack
(This is as good of a closer as A Wolf at the Door, it doesn’t do as much but it just makes it more effective. It’s hard to close an epic as Kid A but this slows you down, in a cold way. Cool.)
A bit surprised to see Street Spirit not getting a placing.

6. Black Star
5. 15 Step
4. Street Spirit (Fade Out)
3. Weird Fishes
2. Bulletproof (I Wish I was)
1. Paranoid Android
Bulletproof ranks high for me as well.
Yass, c'mon with that Polyethylene and Packt Like Sardines recognition! :D
Great songs across all the albums and difficult to pick ten but here goes:
1. Karma Police
2. True Love Waits
3. There, There
4. The Bends
5. Paranoid Android
6. Fake Plastic Trees
7. Idioteque
8. High and Dry
9. You and Whose Army?
10. Electioneering
Nice to see Electioneering getting some love. Always was an odd fit on OKC but such a great track regardless.
So many great songs to choose from, but here’s my Ten:
1. Karma Police (OK)
2. Pyramid Song (Amnesiac)
3. Reckoner (In Rainbows)
4. Paranoid Android (OK)
5. Lucky
6. True Love Waits (Moon Shaped Pool, amongst elsewhere)
7. Everything in its Right Place (Kid A)
8. Exit Music (for a Film) (OK)
9. Street Spirit (Fade Out) (The Bends)
10. Talk Show Host (OST Romeo & Juliet)
1: fake plastic trees
2: let down
3: no surprises
4: karma police
5: jigsaw falling into place
6: nice dream
7: lucky
8: street spirit
9: man of war
10: knives out
11: life in a glasshouse
12: black star
13: exit music
14: videotape
15: 2+2=5

Identikit might've been a challenger for me if it was more like the live versions.
@@Torthrodhel Good point yeah. Those early live versions got me so hype.
That's gotta hurt for a band like this with so many incredible non-album tracks. I've never decided this list without including b-sides and extras, so... guess it's time to! :)
My album-tracks-only list:
1. Black Star
2. a Wolf at the Door
3. Decks Dark
4. Lucky
5. Lotus Flower

9 Bullet Proof... I Wish I Was
10 Lotus Flower
(I believe I'm the only person that likes Faust Arp.)
10) Planet Telex
9) Burn the Witch
8) Myxomatosis
7)Bodysnatchers
6) House of Cards

10.you
No order: Airbag, Street Spirit, Where I End And You Begin, The National Anthem, Myxomatosis, High And Dry, 2+2=5, Exit Music, Karma Police, You And Whose Army?
Maquiladora never gets any love. One of my favs and seems to barely ever get mentioned.
I wouldn't put it in a top 10 list but it's nice to see it mentioned, it's very strong among their early b-sides (although the equally-never-mentioned India Rubber would probably be my preference from that sort of time).

1. Everything in it's Right Place
I’m sitting here on a Sunday morning and trying to put my own together. It’s harder than hell...😂
So, here's the 10
10 Black Star from The Bends
9 Sail To The Moon from Hail To The Thief
8 Bullet Proof...Wish I Was from The Bends
7 You and Whose Army from Amnesiac
6 Airbag from OK Computer
5 Let Down from OK Computer
4 Nice Dream from The Bends
3 Paranoid Android from OK Computer
2 Daydreaming from A Moon-Shaped Pool
NUMBER ONE : FAKE PLASTIC TREES from The Bends
Black Star, Planet Telex, Just, Street Spirit, Nice Dream, Airbag, Lucky, Let Down, Pyramid Song, Like Spinning Plates
10. Paranoid Android
9. Planet Telex
8. Jigsaw Falling Into Place
7. Idioteque
6. No Surprises
5. 2+2=5
4. Everything In Its Right Place
3. Subterranean Homesick Alien
2. Optimistic
1.Airbag
Agree with Kramzer - Fake Plastic Trees is my no. 1 Radiohead song.
Impossible job to only pick 10 from just a vast catalogue of brilliant songs - I'd want to include Deck's Dark and Street Spirit somewhere, two wonderfully emotional songs, and am I allowed Man of War even though it didn't make OK Computer originally?
I made two different top 10s so I could put it at the top of one of them. :)
10 Let Down
9 Motion Picture Soundtrack
8 Daydreaming
7 Street Spirit (Fade Out)
6 Optimistic
5 No Surprises
4 2+2=5
3 Jigsaw Falling Into Place
2 Idioteque
1 Paranoid Android
1. No Surprises
2. Paranoid Android
3. Idioteque
4. 2 + 2 = 5
5. A Wolf At the Door
6. The National Anthem
7. Nude
8. Karma Police
9. Morning Bell
10. Everything In Its Right Place
My list changes constantly but if I were to pick now:
10. Exit Music
9. Fake Plastic Trees
8. The Daily Mail
7. Reckoner
6. Paranoid Android
5. Weird Fishes
4. Motion Picture Soundtrack
3. Karma police
2. Let Down
1. No Surprises
Nice to see Let Down so high. Bonus points for the great reggae cover by Toots (RIP) and the Maytals, on the Radiodread album.
Ian McGillis just looked this up and never thought I’d see the day where there’s a full reggae version of Ok Computer and it actually sounding pretty decent.
@@JordanGill2002 Oh, it's brilliant. Same all-star Jamaican line-up who did Dub Side of the Moon, a reggae take on you know what.
1. Paranoid Android
2. Nude
3. Jigsaw Falling Into Place
4. Planet Telex
5. You
6. We Suck Young Blood
7. Indentikit
8. There. There
9. Ful Stop
10. Myxomatosis
Evaluating all their songs for a top 10 list is too big a job at the moment but I will say "Pyramid Song" is my favorite. They have killer B-sides too like "A Reminder."
a Reminder is SO good.
My list:
(Honourable Mentions: There There, Lucky, Creep, 15 Steps, Codex, Identikit)
10. The Gloaming
9. Optimistic
8. No Surprises
7. 2+2=5
6. Pyramid Song
5. Myxomatosis
4. I will
3. Paranoid Android
2. How to Disappear Completely
1. Idioteque
No Surprises on this list. HAHA. Okay sorry. 'I will' is probably their most underrated song. Short, simple and sweet and a perfect follow-up to 'There, There'.

where is the love for the songs on the ok computer album? yes. i picked climbing up the walls as number 1. so psychedelic. always loved it since that album came out.
Talk Show Host is amazing and gets no love.
I think it gets some love. It's on a lot of lists in these comments (as it should be). Only very narrowly didn't make mine.
1. Reckoner
2. Bones
3. Paranoid android
4. You
5. Kid A
6. The numbers
7. There there
8. Karma police
9. Pyramid song
10. Decks dark.
It kills me none of you chose Reckoner 😢
also street spirit immerse your soul in love is one of the best lyrics of all time
I love the Bends and I love OK Computer. And then they lost me on Kid A. And have only listened a bit since:
10. Creep
9. Paranoid Android - I hate the video.
8. Airbag -
7. The National Anthem - my fave from Kid A and one of only a handful I like from that album and this one took a while for me to like it, just one day it clicked.
6. Knives Out -
5. Just - as much as I hate the Paranoid Android video. I love the Just video.
4, Fake Plastic Trees
3. Karma Police
Why do you hate the Paranoid Android video? I love it
The weirdest part of this video isn’t so many sterling songs from The Bends not making the cut, it’s the closed captioning. When set to English, it does not print what the three gents are saying. It shows the wrong text in English, AND throws in some foreign language words for $#!¥$ and giggles!
Always hard to find 10 songs, when it's one of your favourite bands.

Nobody ever mentions Four Minute Warning, brilliant to see it get some love. :)

Justin Biebers debut?
@@JarlStensson correct
@@chao3948 nice that my favvo too
Radiohead are great , but sometimes they lean on or borrow ideas somewhat blatantly..

'There, there?' *NO!!*
Oh yeah other people like different stuff...you're still wrong, though!
If there's one thing we've learned from Radiohead, it's that everything does indeed have a right place. :P
Jason’s list is dope.
John’s can go to hell 😂
Jason’s list is garbage. - Not John
We will let John know- kram
@@TastesLikeMusic I know it’s Joe, not John. I’m sorry, I’m just being a prick today 😂
I had to watch the video to remember what my list was. I was pretty surprised by it myself. - Joe
anyone can play guitar
Nobody likes "Creep??"
I like it. - Joe
I love it! It's my number 1. When they've made only 3 decent albums(Pablo Honey, The Bends and OK Computer), it's an easy choice to make.
@@jesuschambers paplo honey is the worst album of all time :(
@@jackkitchen154 are you on crack jack?
Sorry I just can't take these guy's seriously. Just watched their top 10 Pearl Jam songs. Black not in a single one of their top 10 lists and now this one and Street Sprit also not in a single one of these top 10 lists. Again like Pearl Jam's black, one of the most powerful songs ever written. It just seems like trying to be different.
