On Defence masteries, for Scyl, I prefer Harvest Despair ahead of Delay Death. 60% chance of placing a leach every time she lands a stun is massive for overall team survival.
Do this series for all dungeons. Fire Knight is pissing me off.

Amazing how I've watched the start of a half dozen F2P new account starts and it seems each 1 pulls Apothecary with Mystery shards main, sometimes the ancients, within 1-2 weeks of playing. Yaaah, that ain't happening here. 2+ months here and I'm sure others have gone much longer.

@@ThomasJ6411 It's about the numbers, if you are are at level 20 dungeons, you should be able to hit 3k defense without 6* gear.

Great vid mate! I feel like people should know that if you have any Force Affinity toons in the team the Spiderlings will attack them first, so you suggest adding Doompriest and that will throw out your tank from getting attacked. This works because its all Spirit and Magic affinity.

Thank you for building out Elf Guard. It has inspired me to try building a similar team. I like the elf guard option to assist Armiger. Once level 25 dungeons get involved, the spirit champs will be weak. I think I will like to see if I can get this done.

Love vids like this! Just shows that getting to end game as f2p, even with bad shard luck, is hard but not impossible.
Drexthar and scyl are MVP for f2p acc :)
Spider is pretty easy for f2p. You get drexthar from 3vs3 (and he is the best spider tank imo if you dont have mutliple ch, royals etc for a nuke comb). If you have no miscreated you can use other healers/cleansers.

My 20 Spider team: Miscreated Monster with warmaster. That shield is insanely powerfull. Visix: tank and TM reduction. Armiger: TM reduction, Stag Knight: Debuffer. ColdHeart: DD and TM control.

My problem was passing level 19... lol
I am glad you warned me about Armiger because I almost threw one out thinking he was food and then I remembered but I never throw out point blank Legendaries but there are so few of those I can currently access until I find some seriously obnoxious poison and weakness stacking champions for the clan boss which I have challenged a number of times with different strategies none of which have been successful.

Already completed the Arbiter missions but the team I used was just around 70% successful. Then I found a comfortable niche with my renegade nuke team with Royal Guard(lead), Renegade, 2x Coldhearts and a WarMaiden. The order of attacks are A2 for both CH, WM DecDef, RG nuke, CH 2xNuke, Renegade reset and it ends in about 49-54sec.
They do wonders for Spider events and still farming up better gear to get all the champs to better 5* or all 6* gear.

Hades so if i were to build my champs do i still need higher hp than my tank if i use udk as my tank i also got resistance on him so he doesnt get those poisons al lthe time
Who are alternatives?
I am fortunate to have Dutchess Lilitu who would I pull out and put her in because she has a speed aura?
I also have CH so would I pull out Arminger and put her in?

@@ANGST.ARGENTINA I've been there. Just recently turned on auto to do a bunch of Fire Knight runs on stage 16 (the void affinity one). Normally it'd take a couple minutes or so to complete a run, I checked in on it and it was at ~48 mins in on one of the runs, stuck in a loop against that damn Paragon, ruining the day.
I put an arena match on auto once, and came back a full hour later to find 1 champ on each side - apothecary and vergis, just stuck in a loop of heals and shields
thank you. looks like get the free-bee to lv 50/60 and maybe use the market for duplicates to build up skills. working on Elfguard, Zephry, Armiger, slowly building up skills but their still 2* working on 3*. No Scyl the Drakes yet. Still working towards the Lordy Legion. helpful hints. things to look forward to.

All in all everything is doable with patience
i just got my scyl recently and i am able to auto all 20 dungons (with exeption of spider since i didnt get around to focusing on it to much not to mention it requiring me to build people specificaly for that and i have around 9 rank 6 champions so i cant spare any for a specific dungeon) and i am both fully f2p and more of a casual player (as a example of what i mean with casual gamer i havent done my daily quests in a week or more since i dont have that much time atm and besides the first couple days i dont think i ever used all arena fights regularly skip tag team and faction crypts etc)
its just time and proper gear composition and team building Dont let all the talk about legos or competetive times etc scare you
You don't need scyl, if you have paragon, if u got him already, u will pass 20, slowly but u will

How does the aggro work? My bad el kazar seems to be tanking all the spider lings. How do I get the spider lings to focus my tank?
In my case it was HP, I use Visix to "tank" and she has the lowest HP by far. I think you need yo have your tank under 29k and all others over 31k
Zephyr Sniper is great in Off tree with 6 Star gear. If you don't have great gear she dies a lot.
For crap gear: a point in Unshakeable in Def tree, Support tree, turn meter manipulation, improved heals and cooldowns. She doesn't get poisoned, improved Life Steals more often, casts her own heal more often and more effectively, and is finally still standing when the Boss dies.
Ideally Armiger would be about 1 speed lower than Elfguard (or a second Armiger) that way Armiger could use his a2 if the turn meter is low enough, and warmaster is the way to go on Armiger. I had mine with helmsmasher and recently switched to warmaster and I actually got a boost in damage from him, and his a2 still hits just as hard with a helmsmasher proc as a warmaster proc. But thank you HH I was actually thinking about ways to deal with spider on my alt account.
How do you make sure Zephyr is taking the hits, not Armiger? Your armiger had less defense and about equal hp.
Put armiger in Relentless set and it'll be 2x faster
i know these are very helpful guides but i think one thing content creators forget to mention is how much stat boosts they get from a maxed out great hall might want to try with further reduced gear sets to simulate nerfing the great hall bonuses.

I got my Drexthar on the bazaar and Drex + Scyl made my runs on spider 20 100%. I don't have a coldheart either, now I'm running Lodric, Drex, Armiger, Stag Knight, and Apothecary. I tried Lodric in place of Scyl and he can support too, still works 100%.

i never hear anyone mention crimson slayer...i have armiger (im still new and he is lvl 35 atm) but no coldheart. i have a lvl 40 crimson slayer and her skills seem they would work fine plus i have enough books to get her half filled. someone tell me im wrong to invest in her??!!

HI H.H! Thanks for the vid! Please do a spider 18 vid. No-one does that as it is the most hard level of spider, even much harder than level 20 because of the affinity. None of those Spirit affinity, specially the Armiger will not work in Level18 and the team composition will fall apart.
Agreed, I recently had to use paragon to get thru 18, still working on 19. I will be so set when I get to 20 tho!
You can build armiger with 115% crit and that should make up for the affinity so you can still get the Tm reduction. Other than that, my team for magic affinity is tayrel, scyl, royal guard, apothecary and coldheart, which works pretty well if you have those
what makes the spiderlings always attack zephyr? is it because she has the lowest HP of all the champions?
Great vid! Learned a lot from your vids since starting 2,5 month ago. My only question is, is Apothecary a good sub for High Khatun? And can you give some non legendary substitutions for Scyl? Otherwise most people need to wait 3-4 month to use the team comps from many of your f2p vids.

180 days in is still faster than most of f2p accs can do all dungeons s20 and I am speaking about players that somewhat understand the game
I agree, but I think it would be helpful to have a substitute to level until the 7th month for the progress. So you can already farm for higher gear instead of waiting until you reach 180 days and then start to progress. And once you get Scyl you can go for her, I totally agree.
But this substitution will help many f2p players to progress further in almost all content and in that way you will be able to use your resources much more efficient.

@@agionek.3417 yep and dragon and ice golem is really easy as f2p i did mine versions there too(scyl can solo IG or scyl + ghrush even in not that great gear), but FK is a lot harder with free champs we get... that i didnt find any composition yet
I have 2 royal guards and 2 coldharts and a stag knight but still can't kill spider 20. Mr. HH I'm begging you to tell me what numbers do i need to whack the spider under 30 seconds like defence down and smack smack smack smack.

Hey would you mind telling plarium to fix tag team arena there has been this bug for months now where inbetween battles the animation will freeze for a few seconds and then kick me out and most of the time it will happen when I am winning or tied and I lose tokens and points they won’t fix it I am losing resources and it is pissing me off!!!
This is actually good idea if you are still doing missions for your arbiter, and ofc have Scyle already but i think it's too long time per one dung to participate spider tournament hehe 🙂

It's good information sure.. but what do you do when you haven't played for 180 days yet.. so no scyl of the drakes.. everyone seems to forget that it takes a long time to get that free champ.. so what do you do when you want to go for spider before you get scyl?

I did spider 20 the first time after clearing 19, the day before yesterday, but it was a one off. I get Drexthar in 9 days, so I'm not sure I can be bothered trying again until I have him.
Drexthar without masteries it's a great champion for spider 20. When you get him, work on it.
3 spirit affinity turn meter controllers are going to struggle getting past spider 18
just have to do it once. I beat 18 and 19 with my same spider 20 team, just ran it til I got a bit lucky.
@@christinehottinger5791 nearly 10mins of weak hits is a lot of spider queen shots to the face and a lot of time for her to eat. It's not the same as an average spider team who hide behind MM shields or just need to hit a few big enemy MAX HP skills.
@@Tibasu I beat it without MM and with only Armiger doing max HP skills. I did have Ult Galek, but my first times were around 7 minutes on 20.
i tried with a coldheart instead of elfguard and it doesnt work, the spider takes turns
I did my version of f2p spider too with hk armiger, Scyl too but instead of those two elfs I put ghrush and drexthar. It’s faster but ye drex is a long run for newer accounts.
Any recommendations for a Scyl replacement? These f2p teams are great, and I love the content, but im only up to dark athel in my champs and sitting at spider 17
what comp do you run? im nowhere near that high in any dungeon :(

@@photon2563 I used Kael with another Nuker up until 15, once I pulled Skullcrown I was able to push up to 17 but its not 100% SR. No HP burn besides single target.

Great Hall AND the stat bonus from where you are in Arena (which is like 20% for Gold 4). Combined they are super substantial and I think worth a lot more than a banner.

High Khatun has been my forgotten gem she is making it back onto several of my teams
I love the content HH. Just one thing that always bugs me, I would like to see the end of your boss fights for damage done stats, time completion, and (I don't know why) the item dropped. I know you skip ahead because you think its boring, but maybe just delay it til the end? Solid content as usual!
To the masteries of Zephyr Sniper: Wouldnt retribution be much more effective than Cycle of Revenge?

I guess it's all about the gear and team stat balance. I still can't get over 13 Spider despite full masteries (HH guide) on my top Spider champs: Coldheart, Psylar, Septimus, Soulbound Bowyer, Apothecary and Lyssnadra...
We need a more overall guide, from team roles and stat balance between champs to gear needed.
Also need tips about the progression order, like first - Dragon up to N stage, then Spider, and so on.

For all of them to be on the right HP level for spiderlings to attack the tank is quite tricky and may takes a bit of trials and error though
And those speeds, man... I can barely get my HK to 236, and I literally only have 100 acc and no hp/def whatsoever.
Thank god I have MM, double CH, Rae and Apo for Spider-20, it would have taken me months and months otherwise
@@user-ii6gm4vj5b One month of farming Dragon 20, I have 4 champs going 240ish speeds. They aren't the best at anything other than speed right now. But if I skip the Yoshi Drunkard fragment summon, I can probably have my fifth champ at 240 speeds.
About a month ago, I was crying to get my first champ (Apothecary) to 240.
I literally complete the daily quests, and use all the leftover energy for Dragon 20.
Another month, and I'll be set speed wise for a few months.
I still can't beat Spider19. But I have double coldhearts. I'll get there some day :)

I am fully f2p tho so I can't really put any spare energy into Dragon runs because I don't have any spare energy left lmao - I always have to dedicate my full energy to whatever tournament/event I'm farming... currently champion training event, I kinda wanna reach the epic book or hell, even the void shard. If not the lego book. This means my whole energy going in it, and gemming from the 600-650 gems I had collected recently.

Thats why you use a false affinity tank. Razin or Drexthar are excelent in spider 20.
Idk why but i have kael lvl 60, kalvalax lvl 60 amd cant clear spider 10. The other 3 champs are ughr lvl 50, hexweaver 50, avir 50

Im 96 days into the game and really cant get far into Spider at the moment. I can beat Stage 5 with the right combination of characters in my roster (Im trying to get fourth character to get ascended to 50) so this feels very far away. Since Scyl is not available for me til day 180, is there someone else that can take that role til I get her? I also dont have Armiger but if hes an uncommon it shouldnt take too long to find him with Mystery Shards. I have the rest of the characters.
Also, can you do a video where the characters have 3 and four star gear instead? I do have one six star set of Relentless but otherwise my main gear right now is around 3-5 mix of blues and purples with a few legendary level items.
I'm curious are any of these dungeons do able without masteries? Most of my champions don't have full masteries if any and I feel that's my biggest downfall so far. Also love your videos hellhades they're always so very helpful thank you so much for all the time you invest into these videos etc
get your 5 most versatile champions on minotaur and multi battle. spend your energy until all of them have full masteries and everything else will be much easier.

Scyl is an absolute beast. For the F2P people...unless u get lucky and pull a Valk or Siphi early, throw your free books into Scyl!!! She's a great champion. I think people under rate her because she's free.
Nothing is more annoying than fighting a long spider fight and get mystery shards or a brew for a reward 😬
You stop getting Mystery Shards and brews once you get to spider 16 and up. Sadly, the same can't be said for the potion dungeons.

Suggestion: try doing this with 4 star gear. Have to remember people are saying they can't do this content meaning they most likely can't reliably farm 5 star let alone 6 star, especially 6 star jewelry. I think if you did that it would be more realistic since you do have GH bonus as well as bloated stats from 5/6 star epic and lego gear. People in stages 13-19 dungeons generally have few 5 star and the majority of the 5 star is most likely farmed from campaign and is just common grey or uncommon green 5 star gear
You get 5 and 6 star at stage 13. I never invest in 4 star after week 1
