The Church started losing the faithful in 1965 with the Vatican II council that allowed the heresies of liberalism and modernism into the liturgy. Find a TLM and go every Sunday. I know many faithful who drive 2 or more hours to receive Truth and the eucharist unadulterated. He is worth it.

I'm so down with being disabled out on unpaid leave, about to lose my job of 27 years of high voltage line work, working storms from Sandy the Katrina and everything in between only to be kicked while I'm down for my spinal damage, hip danage and gut issues that i know that years of 18 to 20 hour days breaking my body to help others only to have my employer and their disability firm (that i paid into) dent me, my doctors and specialist wondering how I'm even walking, and realizing that my life is forever changed from here on out at only 48 with 2 daughters to care for as a single dad. I NEEDED this as i have been so MAD at God for not "doing enough to help". But, with my father passing in 2020 from COVID in an dementia case facility, i have the funds he left my mom and i. It's not much and i struggle, but i can squeek buy BY THE LORDS GRACE. I needed this as a reminder that He IS taking care of my family and i and HE IS HERE.
