Hearing "stay strong", "it'll be okay" and the like must really get on your tits. If music is your comfort, music it is 24/7. Depression has roots to something or some event that has or is about to happen in your life. Life goes on and nothing will stop time, not even the fact you're at your lowest. Nothing shameful with being at your lowest, it shows you the importance of lone-time. Positivity is key, even if it's false. You're needed on this world, remember that. Without you it'll just be another floating planet.

You know, I was there on that day. Although I do like Florence, I was still kind of disappointed because I wouldn't see FF and I know a lot of people who went there felt the same. But when she sang that song, everyone just went crazy! She really won everyone on that stage...

They deserved to headline that year....They were among the best of the best UK bands on the go at the time.. :)

Even as I’m being a very old fan of The Foo's this cover blew me away. Nothing beats the original but this certainly comes close. I got goosepumbs.. What an absolute beautiful rendition.
My friend PJ introduced me to Florence and we used to sit and listen to the Foos together in cafes and parks. She passed away recently and this song seemed a fitting place to put this. Rest in peace PJ, you will always be missed.

I'm watching this in the (goddamn) year 2020 and it just brings tears to my eyes. Such a great cover, lyrics that fit like a glove and on top it is my favourite song. Another life goal is to hear it live in the front rows at least one more time, whenever this may happen...

Mosque yes! so? florence performed this song for dave because the foo fighters had to cancel their headline slot last minute (and were replaced by florence + the machine) because dave broke his leg a couple of days before the festival and wasn't able to perform. a kind tribute.

I just started watching the Foo Fighters concert at Glastonbury 2017 when I heard Dave saying that Florence covered Times like These and I just had to open another UA-cam widow and watch it. And not even 30 seconds into this video and I was literally crying from the beautiful sounds invading my ears, and all I could think was how lucky were all the bastards that got to experience this live.

I was at this with my now wife. I was planning to propose whilst watching Suede at John Peel tent the following night. We’re both big fans of Suede and Florence but Suede were the first band we saw together five years earlier. During this performance I actually put my hand in my pocket to get the ring box and do it a day early. When I looked at my girlfriend she was already sobbing at this so thought it best to wait until Suede as planned.

+Karina Belkina The Foo Fighters wrote the song, I prefer their version but this is still beautiful. The reason she sang it is because Dave Grohl, the singer of the Foo Fighters broke his ankle and couldn't perform. So she took their spot at short notice. She sang one of their songs to give the crowed a bit of Foo Fighters since they missed out.

When I first watched the video of this, the video had the bit where she talked about Dave Grohl and then when she sang this, I almost cried. I think this is a beautiful tribute, best song from Foo too. Also had plenty of fun playing this back in uni, that guitar riff was pretty great. Always brilliant when two artists you respect merge together

Being in Pilton on this night in 2015 and hearing this live must have been one of the most magical moments in the history of Earth
