Ribery is my favourite winger of all time. The definition of "football as it is meant to be" - beautiful, magical, inspiring. It is sad that modern football do not produce players like him anymore, everyone are obsessed with stats.
I couldn't agree more. We are in 2024 and Bayern hasn't produced not one winger close to him and Robben. Sané, Gnabry and Coman are great, and I thank Gnabry for what he done in 2020, but they are just not like him. They can score as many goals as they want, but don't come close to what Robbery were. I really miss them.
Him and Robben are the best pure winger of the 2010-20s. Few player of this decade are comparable to them.

elegance yet powerful and agile. i always say this guy is Zidane that born to be a winger. technical wise he's on that level. he just built and use that gift to play as a winger. i remember before he's joining Bayern i was praying that he come to Turin instead.

But next to this monster they are garbage, none of them have this spirit and this talent, Ribery's dribbling was insane, not even Robben could match that dribbling, only Ronaldinho had more Effective tricks... now you see Bayern's wingers and Sane is the more talented and his dribbling is not half of good as this because he doesn't know how to move the ball with little touches over add over again, and that's what Ribery did, coming into the area with little touches to confuse rival and break them, also you see Coman and all he does is trying to run faster than rival, is painful to watch, Gnabry is more passing the ball foot to foot.....but Ribery was a total baller, the tricks he had pffffff.
I just expect for Musiala to keep developing and add more stuff to his game, because he usually just plays the side to side ball. Don't get me wrong I love my team, but I see this and is like damn, these were skills
