Thanks for your explanation about the Bio Digester . I just installed a Bio Digester at the house, a month or so ago. I am building in Liberia, West Africa. The area I am building, there is no sewer line installed yet. So I did my research and go with Bio Digester instead of Septic Tank. Thanks again. I really appreciate your representation with excellence graphics. God bless you! Amen.
Thank you for such an excellent explanation. I was searching for information on how bio digesters work and by far your video is the best!! Thank you again!!
Thanks Simon for your kind words. As a matter of fact, I've recently published a new video on bio-septic tanks - ua-cam.com/video/hQ7x5uegGJU/v-deo.html
I have a few questions. 1. Whats the, "Last Manhole? is that the soak away" 2. Help with the design of the construction. 3. Aside that, I like your animation style, it fits exactly what I want to do next, what is it called, and how can I learn it. 4. May I kindly email you on the details you have left in the description box? Thank you. 5. Finally, thank you so much, this was the right amount of information provided, I binge watched this video, and followed through all the UA-cam norms gladly by liking, sharing, subscribing and also commenting. Much appreciated Sir. The only thing I have left out is buying you a cup of coffee but in due time we will be able to.
You gave me the very information that I lacked - thanks for making it this simple and clear. One question though - can I build the 1 cubic metre box with burnt bricks?
@@mosesbosire4156 It's best to consult with a biodigester contractor about the soil in your area. You can watch my other video about the materials you'll need for a biodigester: ua-cam.com/video/hQ7x5uegGJU/v-deo.html
Thanks for the info! We have seen these at small resorts here in Mexico, and hope to see if they work in the freezing cold of Canada (not 15’ underground)
How long does the anaerobic digestion process take? It is obvious that the average volume of black water you're producing must remain in the biodigester for at least this period of time, plus a bit more to cater for inefficiency. Considering this, I'm yet to be convinced about the feasibility of these 1m3 biodigesters. The calculations just don't work.
Yes it is. Though bath/kitchen waste water is directed into the soak pit and not into the biodigester. The biodigester deals with waste from the toilet
Very useful video. I have used a biodigester for several yrs. But the recent rains have flooded my digester. What solutions exist. Or how can I get help
Thanks for this. My place is waterlogged. The construction of a small biodigester is ongoing. Should I stop it as this video lesson cancelled the idea in such an area?
You should consult a soil/geotechnical engineer before installing the biodigester to assess the soil & water conditions of your plot. The soak pit should not be dug in a waterlogged area.
The enzymes digest the waste, reducing its size in the bio-digester. Maybe in future I'll make a video focusing on the bacterial aspect of bio-digesters.
Thanks for this video. Wouldl like to send this to our group planning a project. Do you have a cost breakdown for a 1cubic meter biogester? I am curious which components contribute to the highest costs etc. Thank you

It will depend with the soil. Most soils do a good job with percolation except black cotton soil.
