- Today we have a special follower fitting as father daughter golfers Tom and Jenny are in the bay after travelling all the way from Boston, for a fitting with Ian and Mikey. The pair loves to compete with each other and are looking for a competitive edge before their next match up. In this first episode, Jenny gets a wedge fit.

I can see my swing in Jenny's, so it was great to get the combo of instruction tips and club fitting. Nice family.

It would be fantastic to see some more wedge fittings and a deeper explanation of how you determine the best grinds based on the player's delivery. I think wedge grinds are severely misunderstood by most people. I know you are limited in your outdoor fitting ability, but it might also be useful to incorporate seeing wedges coming out of different turf conditions or rough too and how that affects the fitting. But overall this was a good one.

Her bag nearly matched mine. I just swapped out JPX 923 HMP for MP 245 with JAWS Raw 54/58 wedges.

I just got fit into hot metal pro with MMT 85. I have 115dg s200 in wedges. I am considering putting MMT 85 or 105 in new wedges to maintain the feel or maybe KBS tour lite reg (fitter recommended). I was surprised you’d go 105 in her wedges when she’s playing 65 in irons

I really like my Jaws Raw 60 X grind. Very versatile on tight lies but forgiving as well. Is there a Vokey or Mizuno wedge grind that is comparable to Callaway’s X grind?
The tips are the key here open that face girl and spin appears! She will do well w just the tips and x grind will be gravy
She has a really strong grip and then doesn't have too much wrist action. She ends up kinda pushing the ball right. With 50-yard pitches, her setup and wrist-action is alot closer to normal.
Her grip is actually fairly strong. Her left hand is practically on top of the grip, and Ian spent time talking to her about how much her club face is shut throughout her swing. Why do you think her grip’s “really weak?”
