33:40 This is just memories from the top of my head but I believe it's basically because a Trademark is more specifically for a company that is actively engaging in business, whereas a copyright is for an idea. Copyright is basically to give someone compensation for other people using their idea and prevent other people from claiming that they came up with that idea. Trademark is to prevent someone claiming something they made is related to an already established brand. (Otherwise everyone would be trying to sell Cola and Ketchup with Coca Cola and Heinz branding)

I’m a hospice nurse and my patients graduate, or get discharged alive frequently. Just because someone thinks they are dying at one point doesn’t mean they can’t get better. It’s wild
Not only is Buzz Aldrin still alive, he actually left a comment on Simon's Megaprogect deep dive about the Appollo missions.
I just found the comment. When you click the profile, you can see some other comments he left. I have a hard time believing Buzz Aldrin called someone else a "Typical beta liberal..." while claiming affirmative action was institutionalized racism...
While he may or may not share those ideas, 'typical beta liberal' does not sound like something an 80+ yo would say...
@@UnicornsPoopRainbowswhile I could see an elderly person saying that, I can’t see Buzz Aldrin saying that
I looked and I can't find this comment

Real world monopoly bankruptcy would go like this.
-Take over your opponents hotels and houses through a hostile takeover.
-Hollow out any remaining value.
-Declare bankruptcy.
-Get bailed out.
-Give yourself a massive bonus and lay off the entire workforce/evict everyone from their homes.
-Repeat.
William Shatner. 92. It’s not just that he’s still around when almost none of the original cast are (except the much younger ones) - it’s that he looks like most people do in their 60s.
It’s all fake. Fake hair, fake teeth, plastic surgery. And he’s a prize winning prick to everyone. He can die any day now, no tears.
He seems to be having fun too.
George who played sulu is still kicking, Uhuru just recently died as did McCoy I think. & nimoy ( hmm there's a rap song in there dying to come sulu/Uhuru - McCoy/ nimoy & perhaps demise & enterprise?
lol)
2nd tangent on my comment, the enterprise is still going where no man has gone before, along with everything else randomly broadcast from our planet! no wonder we can't find any life out there, they are hiding from our signals ! someday they will all create a mass tort & sue the planet out from under us! lol
Julian, i dig the editing in this one. Thank you, I laughed a lot!
Brain Blaze is becoming unhinged again. I’m happy
Amazing editing!!!! Loved it!!
As for someone who I am constantly surprised is still alive is Jimmy Carter. Happy he outlived Kissinger too :D
i never comment, but this must be one of the best edited, and most chaotic videos Simons done. Even the ad read was worth watching!
There are still two Tower Records physical shops in Dublin, Ireland.
Simon is adorable. Simon confused fusion energy with cold fusion lol
What an intro never fails to make me laugh regardless of which channel of his it is I’m watching 😂
Simon is the best spokesman Vessi could get
I miss Blockbuster, happy Fridays.
The biggest example of a company claiming a Religious Exemption is Hobby Lobby. When the Affordable Care Act was signed into law, Hobby Lobby claimed an exemption because the AFA includes Birth Control as well as other "family planning" and Hobby Lobby is religiously opposed to such.
Loving the Dropout/College Humour references!
YESSS! I'm glad I'm not the only one. "Is He Gay?", the Zack and Grant sketch, is solid.
@@MikeP2055 Much as I love Brennan, that was solid
Enron blaze would be the best possible business decision ever, Simon. Do it!
I have something in common with Simon: Sami is my hero too!!
The Penn Central railroad still exist, after it's railroad assets were nationalized as part of Conrail, Penn Central reorganized and became American Premier Underwriters a property and casualty insurance company. And speaking of Conrail, they also still exist. After it was bought by CSX and Norfolk Southern, Conrail became an asset management and network services provider for the shared assets that weren't absorbed into CSX or Norfolk Southern.
If Vessi made steel/composite toe I’d buy them just from your endorsement, Simon. Unfortunately I have no use for regular shoes
Hey just super curious what you do that means you never wear regular shoes...like ever?? Not even when you just nip to the shops? Really curious ha
Dick Van Dike (98) and David Attenbrough (97) are still alive, there ya go Simon.
Simon should take more breaks now. Since he came back and started recording Brain Blaze he’s back at long tangents
21:24 search box. great easter egg well done Kevin. lmfao
Yay! I caught BB right as it dropped!!
Congrats!
As always Simon is on point with his stories. Is he one of the best presenters on the youtube? I would say yes.
Venture bros reference in brainblaze?! Lets go!! Shout out to the goat dr. Henry Killinger
And his magical murder bag!
Anyone remember FRIENDSTER?! the sad rebound after MySpace and before Facebook? Lolololol
I don't know if I consider myself to be in a parasocial relationship with Simon. I consider myself to be locked in the blazement with the writers so I'm in a parasocial relationship with like Danny and Kevin and everyone. And I feel like the editing speaks to my soul so I'm in a parasocial relationship with like Sam and Julian. Simon however I've seen SO much that I no longer feel parasocial with him and have wrapped all the way back around to being so desensitized that I know I'll never interact with him in any meaningful way. Kinda like how I feel about Chris Hansen or Dr Phil
Blockbuster being a liquidation firm could make sense if they were the ones that liquidated blockbuster to begin with.
Can vouch that vessies are amazing. Was walking home with a healthy buzz from the bar in my vessies slip ons during a rain storm. I was drenched entirely except for my socks and feet in my vessies. Had them for almost a year and still holding up only complaint is if you have custom shoe inserts they may not fit in the shoe with your feet. But yeah....make some winter boots for -40 and pants and i will be a walking vessi billboard.

This is just memories from the top of my head but I believe it's basically because a Trademark is more specifically for a company that is actively engaging in business, whereas a copyright is for an idea.
Spoiling Succession for the Editor was PEAK you tube 😂😂😂😂
Where is Charles? Cancel Simon
I was a manager for Securitas. They actually tell you about it's origin in the orientation handbook.
Brain Blaze is always Simon going off while occasionally referencing a script. Classic Blaze. 😆
the editing for this episode is gold.
Where's @EveryFairyDies tangent timer? We need it, Simon. WE NEED IT.
The "Enron Blaze" graphic killed me 😂
You have the best editors ever!!
25:00 FactBoy starts spoiling the Succession series ending.
27:00 When FactBoy finally quits talking about it.
*You're Welcome!*
thank you. I paused and dug in the comments for this because I just started the show
I'm an American and my first thought about the Pinkertons is mostly positive. I'm a history nerd so I think of the lot of good stuff they did before the union stuff. Let's also remember not all the union organizers were great people either. Lots of the leaders didn't have anything to do with workers. I'm not saying management was the good guys just that there was a lot of crap going on all over the place!!
There were some fine people on both sides of the issue lol
I love how Simon yelled at Vessie. He is the best spokesman
Bankruptcy in Monopoly is pretty much exactly the same as bankruptcy irl.. going bankrupt means the properties are sold off to the other players (investors) and it is up to them to decide if they keep the branding of the bankrupt company
OMG that Zelda song reference brought back memories and a full on LOL moment!
Good show old chap!
Nice meme and editing Julian, funny as hell.
Laughed and got cat scratched twice.
Seque and Myspunk, bloody cat
If you started MySpace, I will too. Let's go Simon! Let's take over my space just like UA-cam!
Thanks Julian, the editing was sweet 💜
Nice work editors "The G Spot" BAHAHHAHAHAHA
My grandfather. He's in his mid 90's. His stents are way past their lifetime, he could go any time, but for SOME REASON, he's still alive.
I remember when Napster first came out. I sampled so much music and ended up purchasing so many CD"s and MP3's because of Napster. Yeah, I discovered a lot of bands through Napster. Thought they no longer existed. Electricity - you can get a small, whisper quiet wind generator the size of a small bush that turns and produces electricity with only a breeze. One can power a normal house. Get one and a backup battery and you have all of your own electricity.
Simon: "I don't want to stop the flow."
Also Simon: *searches for his MySpace profile in real time*
Whew, between the script and Simon’s rambles - what a journey. Thanks Blaze Team ❤
One of my favorite Dad questions: "What the heck is facespace?"
He heard his friend's teens talking about social media and got the 2 names squished together.
My dad _still_ says “ya know, the facespace, the spacebooks, that stuff” when he’s talking about social media in general.
Dad has dyslexia and I’m never sure if the mix up is genuine or just a joke at this point.
So there I was at 2:45 am, half drunk and half asleep doing some laundry before bed. I’ve zoned out, barely paying attention to the content, instead simply passively enjoying the mellifluous sounds of Simon’s voice, when suddenly, from the direction of the ground level window at my back, feet behind me, I hear a sound like someone banging on the window. I spin around afraid to look but all I can see is darkness. Again comes the banging, but from a different direction! I spin the other direction having thrown the Jersey I was holding and grabbed a tee shirt to hide behind when I finally heard Simon say something about a knocking at the door. I literally stood for a few minutes while my adrenaline levels and blood pressure slowly crept back down below dangerous levels. I’ll still go to sleep tonight listening to the Whistle Boy… and probably wake up to the graphic content of Casual Criminalist. Again.
