Ist a 50cc morini engine. It runs good and starts easy. I have the hard top i the trunk.
The whole machine is 150kg and total 330kg so 180kg in passengers and stuff :)
Its road legal whit 2 persons without helmets. uses seatbelt instead.
My fun tech is totaly original. It got some small things i have to repair. Like speedometer. And rear fender. Air filter and so on. But it is in a real good overall shape.
In denmark it is registered as a 45km/h big moped. It does run 60km/h. But its still legal (barely legal) :D
Cockpit reminds off a simple private plane and I just waiting for a "take off" 🛫 on the straight line at 2:30 when the engine reach top rpm... LOL... 😂👍

It has 3 main wheels and two sort of training wheels lol! 😂 It's kind of like a bike!

I would say both. If you can live whit the short range on electric. For sure choose an electric. If you want to be more free and go longer without thinking on the range. Go petrol. This secma funtech i a old man now. So it need service to keep running good. An electric does not need service...
BUT a piaggio ape 50 is a pice of S#%! Ist a crappy car for people that want to drive slower than a bikecycle. And more noise than a diesel traktor on full throttle. Seriously. Its so bad. Slow. Noise. Awfull comformt. Only good thing is storage space in back.

Yeah ist really common on these. The speedometer cable is like a snake. The cable has 4 sharp bends to get up to the speedometer. But the speedometer never fails. Only the cable. Last about 2000km. And need replacing. Sometimes less. Absolutely faculty engineering. 😉
