This episode, especially the scene of willy trapped in big yellow. It has been burned into brain for so long, because I came home one day and one of my siblings was watching this episode. I was around like 5 or 6 at the time, and that last scene stayed with me for a while and it still stays in the back of my mind to this day.
This episode is probably the reason why I have claustrophobia. And it also made the movie NOPE extremely scary. If you know the scene I'm talking about, you know.

Don't get me started on the fact I had to climb up a lil ladder and the covers over my head lol. This guy gave me literal nightmares. Honestly, after watching the FNAF movie, I always felt that it would have been better if the animatronics weren't so robotic, and acted more like Big Yellow. It's eerie and terrifying, but some of his "goofy" moments still captures how they're stil mentally children.

When they forced me to watch this episode I was genuinly trauamtized, to the point where even now I have trouble breathing just seeing the mascot again and thinking back on it. You see the episode alone would've been fine, but my sisters gaslit me into beleiving big yellow was real and would constantly tell me he was watching and was after me. They would make me rewatch the episode over and over again just to make it worse. Now I am 20... still scared of this stupid low budget kids horror episode, all because my sisters were really shitty to me. They did a lot of other stuff I can't forgive, but one of them has appologized for it, and the other one just thinks its funny that I was genuinly traumatized, like, its not even scary, its jsut the bad memories that make this unwatchable to me anymore, I had to pause the video and take bereaks to avoid having a panic attack.

As someone who adored watching A Haunting Hour as a kid while also suffering from sleep paralysis, I made the mistake of watching this episode. It freaked me out so bad that I had a paralysis episode involving Big Yellow 😬 😅 looking back, love the creepy concept.
Speaking as a millennial, this is my favorite episode of "The Haunting Hour". There are so many great, and unsettling, levels of horror packed into this creepy tale.
This video scared the FUCK out of me. I still remember how my stomach dropped when it showed the inside of him. Being stuck in a tiny probably smelly beanbag basically. Willy is covered in sweat so it’s like super hot and humid in there. Also it’s probably super hard to breathe due to the lack of air and stench. And there’s something so scary about being so close to freedom but no one knows and can’t help you

As someone who adored watching A Haunting Hour as a kid while also suffering from sleep paralysis, I made the mistake of watching this episode. It freaked me out so bad that I had a paralysis episode involving Big Yellow 😬 😅 looking back, love the creepy concept.

Speaking as a millennial, this is my favorite episode of "The Haunting Hour".
There are so many great, and unsettling, levels of horror packed into this creepy tale.
It’s one of the most memorable episodes that’s for sure!

This video scared the FUCK out of me. I still remember how my stomach dropped when it showed the inside of him. Being stuck in a tiny probably smelly beanbag basically. Willy is covered in sweat so it’s like super hot and humid in there. Also it’s probably super hard to breathe due to the lack of air and stench. And there’s something so scary about being so close to freedom but no one knows and can’t help you

Glad to know I'm not alone lmao. I watched all of the haunting hour, except this episode, twice a couple years ago. I love this show, but this episode messed me up as a kid.
I always loved this episode and idea behind it. Would of been cool to see someone in a mascot costume acting like the character. Never sure if its someone pretending to be the character, if they are a monster that looks like their mascot selfs or jusy like Big Yellow here.
Haunting Hour is like scarier than Goosebumps but not that scarier than Fear Street.
