I have one of these and it has just randomly died. I opened it up, couldn't see any kind of fuse or blown component. Any ideas? Is this just e-waste now? Great vid. Thank you so much.
Fully repairable. If you reach out to Thomas Daniels through the ISP technology Facebook page. We repair all wisp and telecom gear and also help with assistance where we can. You can also pm me through the ms Dixit FB page. Don't ever toss gear before trying to fix it.
This is a very nice little switch, but unfortunately it runs too hot. Getting rid of the internal psu for an external meanwell or something and adding a small fan would really improve its longevity. Although in 2023 you can probably get something better-built and with SFP+
Its difficult to find switches that support poe+ and passive poe. This is one. They have proven very reliable for many in the industry. Temp has never really been brought up.
