- Wonderfully easy pitcher plant for beginners! This is a vigorous growing variety with lovely mottled pitchers. The pitchers have small wings while the color is mostly red with green, vertical markings. The mature pitchers are squat and slightly peanut shaped thanks to its N ventricosa parentage. The peristome is smooth and bright red. The leaves will also go red with higher light. This hybrid is made up of Nepenthes khasiana x (ventricosa x maxima). Adaptable to both lowland and intermediate conditions. Does well in a sunny window.

I’ve had a alata Nepenthes for about a year, I love watching it grow :) I just ordered a Lady Luck and gaya Nepenthes to add to my collection and will work my way up to different kinds

Do you know if it's fertile or at least the sex?
Not sure. But the baby plants are coming out from the bottom of the plant.
All nepenthes can reproduce in two way, first one and easy on the bottom they will appear new plants "clone" of the mother, the second and difficult way but also the only way to make hybrid is with seed but the flower it's produced only when the plat is "adult" and you need a male and female plant because every nepenthes plant produce only one tipe of flower, male or female, the problem is you can't know what plant is your until is make a flower because male e female are identical each other, so if you want seed you need to buy adult plant when you can see the flower or buy many small plants wait until they grow up and hope you get at least one tipe for each sex
