Just a quick update: We installed these bike lights on July 11th and the batteries still work! And my son still loves them! We will get a set for his back tire too!
Might have mentioned not to have ANY extra line hanging out. If this was to get tangled in a EBike hydraulic brake or Gear shift mechanism, it could be dangerous as they are not OEM to the Bike, but thanks for posting as directions DIDN’T come with the amazon package🤓

Hated your insane background rock ‘n’ roll. Sport TV shows think they need this to be hip. We don’t need this in the background of an instruction video. Turned it off before one minute transpired. Terrible idea!!!!

Yes definitely, they still work perfectly.
I just installed mine on my cruiser bike, it's a bit tricky getting the battery pack on but once done, it's a breeze! I'm going to purchase for my other bikes as well.
Exactly my thoughts as well. The battery compartment is tricky but after that easy install. We bought 2 more for my other bikes. The batteries work for about 6 to 7 months with moderate usage. Enjoy and thank you for watching.

@@They_drew_first_blood its on this sunday. I there is this "electric" style category so i need to bust out the fancy bike lights for it. Last time i encased the bike in cardboard making it look like Captian Falcon's Blue Falcon from F-ZERO. This year im doing a Rayquaza that blasts coneftti from its mouth and zip it to the frame of the bike. Possibly will film some of it for my TV show.

@@UltimateTechHub I have these lights and ride a lot at night. Honestly I'm tired of having to bend, squat or reach down. Every time I have to turn them on or off; especially after a long ride. They are pretty cool and have save my life at blind corners. Although I have had to deal with the occasional person who thinks they are an easy steal and ties to get them off. Sometimes I catch them in the act. I just sit back, watch them and wait for the cops. There story's as to what they were doing are always funny and I always have proof the bicycle is mine on me.
If these had Bluetooth these would be awesome. Just think turning these lights on and off with your phone and as well as changing the colors to solid colors and multicolors. I love mines but Bluetooth would be a big upgrade👌🏼

They literally could not have chose a more finicky way to affix the battery pack. Jesus Christ.
It's a little frustrating that's for sure but that battery is not coming off that wheel!! Lol
If you have children then adding bike wheel lights is a must for safety.
This isn't that easy to install, took every bit of my patience by not getting wire cutters and cutting the whole thing out and throwing it in the trash. Going around the spokes on a kids bike is a dumb idea, the LEDS getting snagged on everything. I wouldn't recommend this product.
Hey, dude! I just got done riding my bike. I ride it between 12 am to 3 am (not three hours straight, but just the timeframe I like to ride it). It's nice and quiet at night and I sleep during the day. I ride my bike for an hour (I actually just purchased the bike a week ago). Anyway, I just got done and decided to put these on. My Mongoose is black and orange, my favorite color combo since I'm a Baltimore Orioles fan. I decided to go ahead and put these one in my garage after I got done and man dude...that rubber band is much harder than it looks. I was getting my fingers scratched up from putting them on, but I finally got them. The lights are the same lights that I use around my house for Halloween. They're called fairy lights. They work just like new. Changed the batteries numerous times but that's it. Durable lights .

They work great. I change the batteries twice since my kid uses them quite a bit.
As soon as I saw the battery being attached to the hub with a rubber band put me off. Personally I think they are better when the lights attach to the
valve
SUGGESTION THIS VIDEO SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE WITH A CLOSE UP OF THE STRINGING PROCESS IN SLOW MOTION AND THEN AFTER SHOWING HOW TO DO ONE OR TWO THEN YOU COULD HAVE SPED IT UP TO FINISH THE JOB THANK YOU THOUGH FOR EVERYTHING IT DID MAKE IT EASY TO UNDERSTAND

That sounds pretty difficult. We have a beach cruiser and we could definitely install the lights on the wheels but it would be a challenge.

Was just looking at these on Amazon, but after seeing them being installed they look tacky as hell haha, just a bunch of wires wrapped around your spokes, also it’s an accident waiting to happen
They look great at night and are very secure. We've used ours for about 2 years and no issues except replacing the batteries. Thank you for watching.

Thanks for the video. I find my lights have "wandered" or slid down the spokes over time. Anyone else have that problem? Any fixes?
Just wrap the lights tighter around the spokes!
First one broke, second one ok. Received as a birthday gift. .500 is a great baseball batting average/not so much in this case.

@@UltimateTechHub Before I installed the lights I tested them and they worked. I unraveled them and installed around the wheel. I turned them on and it doesn't work. I tried on the second set as we'll and they worked, I unraveled them and tested before I put them on the wheel and the lights do not come on. Am I missing something? Ray

Once you get the batteries in the holder, wrap the rubber thing around the holder and attach the holder AND the rubber around your bike. You'll see it on the video. Then just take the entire length of the lights, hold it in one hand and out it through your bike spokes and pull it back through another spoke in the opposite direction. Hope this helps!

These lights are blue so they don't change color. However I have done other bike wheel light reviews that have color changing lights. So make sure to check them out! Thank you for watching!

Nope you can install these on large wheels like mountain bikes or adult bikes.

you cut off the excess led lights, just wondering how long the full length is prior to cutting of any led lights
These lights are long enough for an adult size bike wheel. Not sure the exact length. Maybe try going to the activ lights website for more information. Thank you for watching.
