Some Important Points and Terms of the Chapter 1. Dobereiner's Triads:In 1817 a German chemist Doberneiner identified certain groups of three elements. These groups of three elements having similar properties was called triads. When three elements were arranged in order of their increasing atomic masses, the atomic mass of the middle element was roughly the mean of the atomic masses of the other two element 2. New Lands Law of octaves:When elements were arranged in order of their increasing relative atomic masses. The properties of every eight elements were similar to the first one, like the eighth note of a musical scale. This repetition in the properties of elements is just like the repetition of eighth node in an octave of music. 3. Mendeleev's Periodic Law:The physical and chemical properties of elements are the periodic function of their atomic masses. 4. Mendeleev's Periodic Table:When mendeleev started his work, 63 elements were known at that time. He selected hydrogen and oxygen as they are very reactive and formed compounds with most elements. Mendeleev's periodic table contains vertical columns called groups and horizontal rows called periods. There were 7 periods and 8 groups. Noble gases were not known at that time. So there was no group of noble gases. The elements in each group of the periodic tables are similar to one another in many properties. The similar properties of the elements are repeated periodically (a).Merits of mendeleev's classification Mendeleev's periodic law predicted the existence of some elements that had not been discovered at that time .Could predict the properties of several elements on the basis of their position in the periodic table. Could accommodate noble gases when they were discovered. (b)Limitations of mendeleev's classification :- The correct position could not be assigned to the hydrogen in the periodic table. Wrong order of the atomic masses of some elements could not be explained.

You're amazing ma'am i love how you stick to the topic and not discuss stupid love or breakup shayeris. And also for short videos it's great for understanding the basics and tht helps a lot
pure and totally ncert based concepts. Ive spent 3 hours reading each line of ncert and madam just taught us within one and half hour without any missing content.
I think Chemistry is very significant subject and if chemistry is completely developed then it would be really helpful but developing chemistry to the advance level is extremely difficult and scientist in this field work really hard to explain perfectly but as this subject is very versatile and do not have regular patterns it becomes very difficult and we study the failed experiment of the scientists either to remember their handwork or note the mistakes to not waste time in future to the further development of the chemistry. I hope I was able to explain.
In such a short time..how u explained all the topics is really appreciable. I m studying from ur videos since 3 months and i believe there is no any teacher better than u..love u mam from bihar..😅
Actually I was searching for exam dear...but I don't find that channel....then my friend had told me that examfear had changed their channel as learnohub...I became happy because this is the ancient platform and as we know OLD IS GOLD...this platform is the best for all students who want to study and they Teach concepts more clear .... ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU SO....❤️❤️❤️❤️.....A MILLION LIKES TO YOUR CHANNEL
* Doubt * According to what u hv said in 13:20 , if i add helium's atomic number to get the element below it, i don't get neon instead beryllium.... [Atomic number of helium = 2 To get the elemnt below the given element = +2 Ans : 2+2= 4 ( beryllium atomic number is 4) ] So is there any exception for this case? Please clear this ma'am.... I understood everything else u taught...thank you so much for your effort.❤
I kinda dislike the fact that ncert refuses to adapt knowledge written in preexisting books to new more accurate knowledge, no element anymore is named in the, nil, un, bi, tri, quad nomenclature. they have proper names now, named after their discoverers. Its sad really, that because of ncert, people wont know the up-to-date information, and great teachers like ma'am here still has to teach old knowledge...

You're amazing ma'am i love how you stick to the topic and not discuss stupid love or breakup shayeris. And also for short videos it's great for understanding the basics and tht helps a lot
the thing towards which you are pointing are not just shayeris they motivates us . Through those shayeris teachers gives us learning .
pure and totally ncert based concepts. Ive spent 3 hours reading each line of ncert and madam just taught us within one and half hour without any missing content.

We all have to learn right laws in chemistry but also we have to learn their trial and their wrong experiments .....why ???wtf!!!🥺🖕🏻😭😭😭🙂
😏Hm😂😂
is this video enough for jee point of view?
I think Chemistry is very significant subject and if chemistry is completely developed then it would be really helpful but developing chemistry to the advance level is extremely difficult and scientist in this field work really hard to explain perfectly but as this subject is very versatile and do not have regular patterns it becomes very difficult and we study the failed experiment of the scientists either to remember their handwork or note the mistakes to not waste time in future to the further development of the chemistry. I hope I was able to explain.

According to what u hv said in 13:20 , if i add helium's atomic number to get the element below it, i don't get neon instead beryllium....
[Atomic number of helium = 2
To get the elemnt below the given element = +2
Ans : 2+2= 4 ( beryllium atomic number is 4) ]
So is there any exception for this case?
Please clear this ma'am....
I understood everything else u taught...thank you so much for your effort.❤
Of course if any thing is different then usual in chemistry is exception😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I kinda dislike the fact that ncert refuses to adapt knowledge written in preexisting books to new more accurate knowledge,
no element anymore is named in the, nil, un, bi, tri, quad nomenclature.
they have proper names now, named after their discoverers.
Its sad really, that because of ncert, people wont know the up-to-date information, and great teachers like ma'am here still has to teach old knowledge...
😂😂
NCERT are the worst books in the world.....
One salute for hardwork in this channel content is organized and easy to understand . Thank you so much ❤️ mam for making our work easy
