Nicely done!
I love this video! Your baby is adorable, she’s going to be a rock hugger tooooo!
I own and operate a little moving company based in Missoula, MT - we moved a gals' 93 y.o. mother to Lincoln City, and after some free time I stopped at the Beach Club event center to finally chow down and probe into adventure ideas.. well, that's how I wound up here, and although I already did some collecting by the beach, I foresee more in my near future - also, I have 2 little girls, and they both LOVE "rock-hugging" lol....
START EM YOUNG 💪💙
It's like finding treasure every time I go hounding. Such a fun hobby for the kiddos too! 🤘 Cheers
Excellent day out on the beach, loved the sand comment, lol. Totally agree, you have to start them young. My daughter rockhounds with me and does our video editing. Super cool finds today, nice batch of tumble rocks. Karen is amazing!
I love that your little one grabs the limpet shell first!
Beautiful little carnelians!
Definitely try Taft beach at Selitz next go round. Right by Mo's.
Thanks for sharing!!
Little dude loved the beaches down there. ❤️ Will definitely be back soon to do some more beachcombing. 🤘
Great video buddy, so sorry I couldn't make it up there to meet with you. Stoked you all had a good time and I hope to catch you next time man.
I've found allot of the blue agate,... best when it's low tide
I wondervif the one at 3:15 was obsidian? The shell right after was super cool. Really nice finds at Lincoln City. All in all some great finds. Nice seeing them at the end shiny! Really good video, Cordell. 😁🤘
Thanks bud I definitely think the one at 3:15 is a grey agate, I found another one that's super dark, I kinda wanna slice it now. Will send you some pics when I do. 🤘
Cool never know what you find
I notice one look like unakite and some have simler look to Montana moss agate
I'm never 100% what I collect, as long as it agate Jasper or cool looking haha 😆🤘
Also found a rare one... with water inside.
Next in Oregon try rock beach inbetween Yahats and Florence my favorite spot for rocks
Will be going back down to Cape Meares area later this summer. 😊 I'm beyond stoked to get back to the Oregon coast.
The shell was a limpet. My son made some fun pictures with them :)
Shell with hole is keyhole limpet
Thanks for the ID 🙂🤘 I'm a noob when it comes to fossils, a while new realm to me.
@@TheRockHugger I am not the best at fossils either but the keyhole limpet is a current shell and I grew up seeing them all the time in the puget sound and studied marine biology/fisheries in college. Now I spend more time collecting rocks.
Nice rocks. Wonderful happy kid. Heaven. Thanks
